Overview

Lead capture, quotes, client management, scheduling, dispatch, and crew and vehicle allocation sit within one moving-company workflow. That breadth is useful when a company wants to coordinate the sale and execution of jobs together, rather than manage customer records separately from crews, trucks, inventory, and supplies. Businesses seeking only a basic quoting tool may not need this operational scope.

Moverbase is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Its mobile apps support schedule viewing, lead responses, customer communication, quotes, crew and truck assignments, and payment collection. Restricted crew access lets movers see schedules and assigned job details and submit their availability, giving field staff relevant information without opening up the entire operation.

Key features

Quoting through job execution

Estimators and quote tools feed into job management, scheduling, dispatch, and resource allocation. Staff, truck, inventory, and supplies management keep operational concerns alongside the job workflow, which can help companies coordinate multiple moving parts. Reports round out the administrative tools, though the strongest case for Moverbase is its connected workflow rather than any one isolated feature.

Communication, documents, and payments

Moverbase describes e-signatures, document digitization, automated emails to prospects and clients, invoicing, payments, and receipts. Together, these tools address paperwork and customer follow-up as well as the move itself. Integrations include Google Calendar, Mailchimp, Wufoo, Gmail, Stripe, Dropbox, PayPal/Braintree, Slack, Square, QuickBooks, and Zapier, offering connections across scheduling, payments, and office workflows.

Hosting and support

Moverbase describes redundant cloud hosting, real-time and daily cloud backups, and time-machine replication. Those safeguards are relevant for businesses storing operational data in the system; they do not remove the specific warning that free accounts may be deleted with their data lost unrecoverably. The home page offers demos, training, and support, while free-tier support is limited.

Pricing

Moverbase uses a freemium model. All four plans include unlimited users, so the key trade-offs are monthly job volume, storage, and what extra usage costs.

Plan	Price	Included and limits
Mover FREE	0.00 USD per free	10 quotes/jobs per month, 20MB storage, limited training and support, and free setup and training. The small quota and storage cap suit a very small operation evaluating the workflow, not a business depending on it for ongoing records; the deletion warning makes the free account especially risky for important data.
Mover Pro	29.00 USD per month	Billed per month; 20 quotes/jobs per month, additional jobs $1.99 each, 1GB storage, and $1.99 per additional GB. This is the lowest paid tier, but its base quota is only twice the free allowance, so regular overages can matter.
Fleet	99.00 USD per month	Billed per month; 100 quotes/jobs per month, additional jobs $1.49 each, 5GB storage, and $1.99 per additional GB. It is a more substantial allowance for busier companies, with lower per-job overage cost than Pro.
Unlimited	299.00 USD per month	Billed per month; unlimited quotes/jobs, 50GB storage, and $1.99 per additional GB. The clearest fit for high-volume operations that need to avoid job quotas, though storage remains capped unless expanded.

Paid plans are priced monthly, and each retains a storage limit with paid expansion. Choose by expected job volume and storage needs rather than user count, since all tiers include unlimited users.

Platforms

Moverbase is available on web, Android, and iOS, and also lists an API platform. Mobile access is particularly relevant to crews and staff coordinating schedules, assignments, customer messages, and payments away from a desk.

Who it's for

Moverbase is aimed at residential and commercial moving businesses, removals companies, and haulers that want lead management connected to scheduling, dispatch, crew allocation, and payments. It is less compelling for a business with very low volume that cannot accept the free plan's data-loss risk, or one that needs more than the paid plan's included storage without extra charges.

Pros and cons

Pros

One workflow from inquiry to execution: Lead capture, quotes, scheduling, dispatch, and resource allocation serve businesses coordinating the whole move.
Field coordination is built in: Mobile tools and restricted crew access support schedule checks, job details, availability, assignments, communication, and payment collection.
Unlimited users on every plan: Companies can include their staff and crews without a per-seat cap in the stated plan terms.
Broad office integrations: Connections such as Google Calendar, Stripe, QuickBooks, and Zapier can link Moverbase to other business tools.

Cons

The free tier is risky for business records: Its 10-job monthly cap and 20MB storage are restrictive, and free accounts may be deleted with data lost unrecoverably.
Pro has a low included quota: 20 quotes/jobs per month can mean $1.99 charges for each additional job.
Storage expansion costs extra: Paid plans include finite storage, with each additional GB priced at $1.99.

Alternatives

Moving Company Software is the category directory for comparing moving-company tools.
GS Bilty is a paid alternative with a free trial, Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows support, and a Silver plan at 599.00 INR per once (billed 3 months (shown as ₹200/month)). Consider it when those platforms and its listed document allowance are the priority rather than Moverbase's broad operations workflow.
SmartMoving is an alternative with Android, API, iOS, and web support. Its listed API tiers range from a free, read-only 20,000-calls-per-month plan to API Premium at 149.00 USD per month; consider it when API access is the deciding need.
SuperSmart Moving offers a free, open-source, self-hosted Community plan with no support, alongside a paid Sustaining Partner plan. Choose it when self-hosting and open-source software are the priority.
reloops is a paid alternative with Android, iOS, and web support, a Starter plan at 59.00 USD per month (billed £59/month), and a Pro plan at 249.00 USD per month (billed £249/month). Consider it when its listed AI surveys and quoting are a better match.
SecureCrews is a paid alternative with a Standard plan at 99.00 USD per month, including 50 active jobs, 10 GB storage, and unlimited users. Consider it when those stated job and storage allowances suit the operation.
Tryoup is a paid alternative with Essentials at 300.00 GBP per month for 1-8 seats, one admin, and 100 stock items, plus a 14-day trial. Consider it when those seat and stock terms align better with the business.
Move and Store has a free web plan with unlimited jobs, quotes, CRM, payments, and storage records, but a 5% application fee. Consider it when those unlimited records matter more than Moverbase's mobile platforms and the fee suits the business.
Moventry is a freemium web alternative with a free plan for up to 20 leads per month. Consider it when lead tracking is the main requirement.

Verdict

Moverbase is a strong fit for moving, removal, and hauling companies that need leads, estimates, crews, vehicles, and payments coordinated in one system, especially when mobile field access matters. Its unlimited-user plans and operational breadth are useful, but the free account is too constrained and carries a serious data-loss risk. Compare paid tiers against actual job volume and storage needs, and look elsewhere if those caps or the free-account warning are unacceptable.
