Overview

Spoki brings conversations from WhatsApp, voice, SMS, and email into a shared thread, with tools for lead qualification, routing, marketing journeys, and human handoff. That breadth can help customer-facing teams coordinate work across functions, but may be more platform than a business needs for simple WhatsApp campaigns.

Spoki says its AI evaluates intent, urgency, and sentiment, then can respond, escalate, or wait. AI agents can automate support, marketing, sales, and lead qualification. This is useful for teams that want automated handling with a path to an operator, though AI is absent from the Free plan.

Spoki says it serves more than 4,500 businesses in over 120 countries. Founded in 2021 and headquartered in San Vito dei Normanni, Italy, it describes itself as an Official Meta Tech Partner with certified WhatsApp Business API access. Its privacy policy says data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL and at rest using AES-256 or equivalent, and hosted in the European Economic Area.

Key features

Unlimited automations and operators appear across the listed plans, giving teams room to build workflows and add people without a stated cap on either. Conversation volume remains the important constraint: usage above three times the plan's included conversations requires an upgrade, and excess usage carries a surcharge.

Spoki lists integrations including Shopify, WooCommerce, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Zapier, and describes both native and derived integrations. Users can request an API key through the Integrations menu, which gives teams another route to connect their systems.

The AI's ability to choose between responding, escalating, or waiting pairs automated service with human handoff. That can suit teams handling varied customer needs, but readers should weigh the AI's absence from the free tier against the value of the paid plans.

Pricing

Spoki uses a freemium model, with paid plans starting at €39/mo. WhatsApp fees are billed separately by Meta on all three paid plans, so the subscription price is not the full cost of WhatsApp use.

Free: Live chat, unlimited operators, unlimited automations, and ticketing. It excludes AI, mass campaigns, abandoned carts, and payment requests.
Service — 39.00 EUR per month: AI customer support, unlimited operators and automations, and ticketing. This is the entry paid tier for teams prioritizing automated support, but it does not include the listed sales and campaign features of the Sales plan.
Marketing — 79.00 EUR per month: Unlimited operators and automations, with WhatsApp fees billed separately by Meta. It suits teams focused on marketing workflows, though the listed plan details do not include AI customer support or the Sales plan's named sales tools.
Sales — 119.00 EUR per month: AI sales agent, mass campaigns, abandoned carts, and payment requests, with WhatsApp fees billed separately by Meta. This is the clearest fit for sales teams that need those specific capabilities, at the highest listed monthly price.

Spoki offers a free trial without requiring a credit card. Across plans, usage above three times the included conversations triggers an upgrade requirement, and excess usage is billed with a surcharge; high-volume teams should account for that alongside Meta's separate WhatsApp fees.

Platforms

Spoki supports Android, iOS, web, and API. The product is a browser-based web app accessible from desktop or mobile, not a dedicated Spoki mobile app. Mobile access therefore depends on using the browser rather than installing a native app.

Who it's for

Spoki is a stronger fit for businesses bringing customer conversations, automation, and human support into one workflow than for teams seeking only a lightweight campaign sender. The Service plan targets support needs, Marketing centers on marketing workflows, and Sales adds an AI sales agent and named campaign and commerce tools. Teams should match the plan to those needs and to conversation volume, while budgeting for separate WhatsApp fees.

Pros and cons

Pro: Unlimited operators and automations across the listed plans can accommodate growing teams and recurring workflows without a stated cap on seats or automation count.
Pro: AI decision-making, lead qualification, routing, and human handoff cover more than outbound marketing, which can benefit teams handling both service and sales conversations.
Pro: Integrations include Shopify, WooCommerce, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Zapier, with an API key request path for teams connecting other systems.
Con: WhatsApp fees are separate from every paid plan, making the listed subscription prices only part of the potential cost.
Con: The three-times-conversation threshold can require an upgrade and add a surcharge, which makes usage monitoring important for high-volume teams.
Con: The Free plan excludes AI and several named marketing and sales capabilities, while mobile users get browser access rather than a dedicated app.

Alternatives

Consider AiSensy if a freemium option with a Free Forever plan at no cost better fits your budget; its free tier has fair-use caps of 200 agents, 500 tags, 100 attributes, and 50 segments.

Botcadence may suit a team specifically looking for web chat and WhatsApp AI with a defined free allowance: 100 AI reply credits and 200 WhatsApp broadcast messages per month, plus one team member and one project.

Choose Dashly if its AI Inbound Revenue Agents offering, with mid-market teams typically starting at $2,500/mo and pricing based on traffic volume and active leads, fits your scale and budget.

Engati is another chatbot and live-chat option.

Intercom may be a better fit for readers seeking a per-seat plan: Essential is 19.00 USD per month, billed annually, per seat/month, and includes Fin AI Agent, Messenger, shared inbox, and ticketing.

Interakt is worth considering for an Instagram-focused setup: its Starter plan is 12.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and includes unlimited Instagram DMs and comments.

Verdict

Spoki is a good choice for businesses that need support, marketing, and sales conversations tied together with automation, AI, and human handoff. Its unlimited operators and automations make the plans practical for teams with broad workflows, but separate WhatsApp fees and a usage threshold that can trigger upgrades or surcharges are meaningful cost considerations. Look elsewhere if you need a dedicated mobile app, a simple low-cost WhatsApp sender, or a free tier with AI and campaign tools.
