In their own words
Nearcut
Nearcut is an online booking system designed to help barbers run their barbershops, available on the web, Android, and iOS. Customers can book around a barber’s availability, while the system also handles walk-ins. When an appointment is cancelled, Nearcut can notify interested customers to help fill the opening. Businesses can take all or part of a customer’s payment at booking, online or offline, to help guard against no-shows. The Free for You plan has no monthly bill and includes automatic email confirmations and reminders, unlimited SMS reminders for online bookings, and Facebook and Instagram “Book Now” integration. Clients pay a small booking charge at checkout, which is refunded if they cancel. Nearcut says it can create a custom business app for the Apple App Store and Google Play. Subscription pricing is monthly and based on the barbershop’s needs; the calculator shows £00.00 per month plus VAT. The Subscription plan has a 30-day free trial and no setup fee, and can be changed or cancelled after the trial without a long-term commitment. Free for You is described as suited to businesses starting out or operating solo, while Subscription is for established or growing barbershops.
