In their own words
Net Affinity
Net Affinity provides hotel booking technology and related services for independent, resort, and group hotels seeking direct bookings. Its booking engine uses two steps: guests choose a room, then confirm details and payment. Guests can edit dates, guest details, and add-ons. The engine supports multiple languages and currencies, branded booking experiences, property cross-selling, urgency messages, and customised search results. Hotels can create member-only packages and track member sign-ups and booking performance in reports. Direct metasearch integrations are listed for Google Hotel Ads, Trivago, and TripAdvisor. Connections include Expedia, Booking.com, Oracle Opera, and Mews, along with OTA and PMS/RMS systems. Smart Payments automates OTA virtual-card processing and supports payment pages, payment links, and PIN terminals. The company describes the engine as cloud-hosted and built around APIs. It says Smart Payments is PCI compliant and offers PSD2-ready solutions. Pricing is on request; prospective customers can contact sales or book a demo. Net Affinity is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, and says its story began in 2000.
PeakRooms
PeakRooms gives independently run lodging properties a direct-booking website and tools to manage booking requests. It is aimed at hotels, villas, homestays, guesthouses and serviced apartments. Owners can create a site from a short property brief, then edit photos, prices and text on the page. A calendar lets them block dates, which then appear as unavailable in the booking form. Guests can request a stay through WhatsApp or a booking form, or pay by card through the property’s own payment provider. PeakRooms says it charges 0% booking commission on every plan and does not mark up payment processing; card details go directly through the property’s provider. Sites can display guest ratings, review text and property replies. Properties can offer paid extras and create promo codes. Starter is free forever for one property and up to 10 rooms. Pro is $19 a month and includes unlimited rooms and a 30-day free trial; Growth is $39 a month and adds team roles, a housekeeping board, performance reports and priority support. The product is web-based.
