Organizations can deploy it on-premises, in the cloud or in a hybrid setup, retaining control over their data. Sharing options include flexible permissions, expiring links, one-time passwords, file requests and File Drop uploads. Teams can edit and co-edit with an office suite, lock files, restore earlier versions and collaborate in real time. Security capabilities include encryption, File Access Control, password policies, brute-force protection and ransomware protection. Supported storage includes FTP, Windows Network Drive, SharePoint, NFS, object storage and CIFS/Windows Shares. Integrations include Outlook, SharePoint, Windows Desktop, Microsoft Office Online Server, Teams and Exchange. Native web, desktop and mobile clients are listed, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS. Free accounts through selected providers include 2–5 GB storage. Business plans start at €71.29/user/yr, with billing starting at 100 users; a 60-minute instant trial provides a personal installation and core applications.
Yandex Disk
Yandex Disk stores files in the cloud and lets users manage them from internet-connected devices. Its free plan provides 5 GB of storage, and file versioning is available. The service supports web access and tools for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. On desktop, users can choose files and folders to sync, but desktop sync requires a Yandex 360 plan. The web interface previews supported documents, images, archives, ebooks, audio, and video. Files and folders can be shared using public links with configurable access settings. Mobile apps can automatically upload photos and videos; paid plans offer unlimited storage for eligible phone media. Prices include Personal 1 TB at $3.17 a month or $22.75 a year, Family 1 TB at $3.80 a month or $31.89 a year, and Pro 3 TB at $12.50 a month or $75 a year. Family 1 TB provides 1 TB per member for up to eight members. Yandex Disk supports business admin controls and WebDAV access on a Yandex 360 plan. Linux users can also manage files with a console client. Yandex says files are scanned for viruses and data transferred through the app or site is encrypted.
