Nium for Platforms
Nium for Platforms lets business platforms embed payouts, multi-currency accounts, cards, and foreign exchange through one API. It serves spend management, payroll, treasury, marketplaces, gig-economy services, SaaS, and B2B embedded-finance platforms. Nium says it processes $84B annually across 190+ countries. Real-time payouts can reach 190+ countries in 100+ local currencies through fiat and stablecoin rails. Platforms can provide locally branded accounts, hold balances in 100+ currencies, convert funds, and pay recipients. Branded physical and virtual cards support fiat or stablecoin funding, limits, merchant controls, permissions, and live spend tracking. Developer resources include APIs, SDKs, guides, an OpenAPI specification, Postman collection, and production-like sandbox. A web portal supports card workflows, reporting, and sandbox access. Nium also describes localized onboarding, identity checks, KYB/KYC, monitoring, fraud controls, reconciliation, reporting, and signed HMAC-SHA256 webhooks. Pricing is on request; fees are set out in a separate Fee Schedule.
Wise
Wise is a money app for sending money, receiving payments from abroad, checking exchange rates, paying bills, and sending money to loved ones. It sends to bank accounts in over 140 countries; delivery on many popular routes is within a day, the same day, or instant. Wise says it uses the mid-market exchange rate and displays fees before payment. Signing up is free, with no subscription; sending and conversion fees vary by currency and start from 0.33%. Sending to another Wise account has no sending fee, though conversion fees may still apply. Transfers can be funded with Apple Pay, Google Pay, cards, or bank transfer. Users can track and schedule transfers, repeat previous transfers, and receive live exchange-rate notifications. Wise says it safeguards customer money separately from its own and uses two-factor authentication to protect accounts and transactions. Photo ID may be required for some currencies or large transfers. The app is available on Android, iOS, and web.
