Overview

Onro is a courier operations platform for businesses coordinating dispatch, drivers and customer orders. It is best suited to delivery operators with varied workflows and a need to manage the customer-facing side as well as the fleet. Its breadth is compelling, but the Business plan’s 1,500-delivery cap and extra costs call for careful budgeting.

Founded in 2019 and based in Kaunas, Lithuania, Onro supports on-demand, scheduled, pickup-only, delivery-only, pickup-and-delivery, hub-based and multi-stop work. That range is useful for companies handling different kinds of jobs; a business with simpler needs may not need so much operational scope.

Key features

Dispatch and driver operations

Dispatchers can assign jobs manually or automatically, monitor orders and drivers in real time, and optimize routes with multiple drops. Vehicle dispatch, territory management and live location tracking add practical control over daily operations. The driver app supports route execution, barcode scanning, proof of delivery by signature or photo, cash on delivery and earnings tracking, covering both the work itself and its basic documentation.

Customer service and integrations

Customers can book and track orders through web and mobile apps, receive SMS, email and WhatsApp updates, chat with the team and drivers, and pay through a payment gateway. This brings ordering, communication and payment into the same service, though app publishing carries an extra cost. The integrations directory spans 78 connections across areas including payments, POS, CRM, mapping and accounting, with Stripe, PayPal, Google Maps, Shopify and WooCommerce among the examples. That breadth can help connect existing systems, while custom integrations may add development costs.

Security and support

Onro says it encrypts data in transit and at rest, does not store passwords in plain text, and supports role-based access groups. It says it does not sell customer data and limits sharing to vendors needed to run the service; EEA residents can exercise GDPR rights, with responses within a month. For healthcare delivery operations, Onro says it supports HIPAA workflows and will sign a Business Associate Agreement, with role-based access, encryption, optional call masking and digital proof of delivery.

Onro says it provides timely support and releases updates almost monthly. Its help center covers setup, customization, integrations and troubleshooting, useful for a configurable system that may need more initial work than a basic dispatch tool.

Pricing

Demo Free and Free Demo

Onro shows two free options. Demo Free is 0.00 USD per free and includes all features, unlimited orders, unlimited users and drivers, no credit card requirement, and full customization. Free Demo is 0.00 USD per free and offers unlimited demo use without a credit card. These are useful ways to explore the product before paying, but they are not a substitute for checking the paid plan’s delivery allowance and any deployment costs.

Business

Business costs 239.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and includes 1,500 deliveries. It is the paid entry point for operators whose volume fits that allowance; businesses handling more deliveries should weigh the cap against their workload before committing. App publishing and custom integrations may add costs.

Enterprise

Enterprise has custom pricing and includes everything in Business, plus white-label customer and driver apps, a white-label customer portal, custom domains and removal of Onro branding. It fits companies that need their own branded customer and driver experience. A minimal setup fee also applies.

Platforms

Onro supports Android, iOS, web and API access. The mobile apps serve drivers and customers, while web tools support ordering and operations. The API provides another route for connecting the platform to surrounding systems.

Who it's for

Onro identifies on-demand delivery firms, food delivery businesses, pickup-and-delivery companies, ecommerce businesses, couriers, beverage businesses, laundries and pharmacies as potential customers. Its workflow range makes it particularly relevant to operators handling several service types. Healthcare delivery is also a stated use case, with a Business Associate Agreement available for HIPAA operations.

Pros and cons

Pros: Manual and automatic dispatch, real-time monitoring and multi-drop optimization support varied fleet operations.
Pros: Driver tools include barcode scanning, proof of delivery, cash collection and earnings tracking, reducing the need to split routine delivery tasks across separate tools.
Pros: Customer booking, tracking, messaging and payment options sit alongside a directory of 78 integrations.
Cons: Business is capped at 1,500 deliveries, which may constrain growing or high-volume operators.
Cons: App publishing and custom integrations can cost extra, while Enterprise also has a minimal setup fee.
Cons: White-label apps, portal and custom domains are reserved for Enterprise, so branded customer experiences require custom pricing.

Alternatives

Resgrid is worth considering for teams that want a freemium service with broad platform support, including self-hosted, Linux, macOS and Windows options. Its free plan is limited to 10 entities and US-West/North America, and includes push notifications and email but no SMS.

Fieldified may suit businesses looking for scheduling, invoicing, CRM and reporting in a freemium service. Its free plan has usage limits, while Basic costs 49.00 USD per month, billed for 5 users.

Super Dispatch offers a free Carrier TMS Lite plan with a driver app, limited carrier dashboard and loadboard; choose it when that narrower free carrier workflow is a better fit than Onro’s broader courier operations.

Odyssee Field Service is an alternative for service businesses seeking an Essential plan at 35.00 EUR per month per user, with a minimum of 3 users.

TruckLogics has paid plans for owner-operators and leased operators, with its Owner Operator plan priced at 35.96 USD per year for 1–2 trucks.

Shipday is a freemium option for operators whose needs fit a web- and API-focused service; its Basic plan is free forever for up to 300 orders per month and 10 driver accounts.

TruckingOffice may be a better match for trucking businesses looking for an ELD subscription, priced at 23.00 USD per month.

Service Pro is another paid service-management option, with an annual recurring per-user subscription and implementation or integration fees.

Verdict

Choose Onro if your delivery operation needs dispatch, driver workflows and customer ordering in one platform, particularly across multiple delivery types. Its operational breadth and integration range are the main reasons to choose it; look elsewhere if the 1,500-delivery Business limit, app-publishing costs or custom-priced branding make the economics a poor fit.
