In their own words
OpenUp
OpenUp provides workplace mental well-being support for employees, managers, family members and organisations. It brings together psychologists, lifestyle experts, financial coaches, nutritionists and medical doctors, alongside group sessions and self-guided learning. Employees covered by an employer partnership can book unlimited sessions without approval, with appointments available within 48 hours; coaching is offered in 45 languages. A roughly 10-minute Vitality Check gives users personalised recommendations and employers anonymised organisational insights. OpenUp says managers and HR cannot see who uses the service or what they discuss. Its AI coach helps users reflect and choose next steps, but does not diagnose or provide clinical advice; a human escalation pathway is available at any time for acute distress signals. The service is available on web, Android and iOS. People without employer access can book a free first session, then buy a three-session card for €249, paid once, with 25-minute online sessions. Employer partnership pricing is on request.
Remente
Remente offers personal wellbeing tools and a business system for employee wellbeing and leadership. Its personal product covers goal setting, habit tracking, mood journaling, stress management and self-guided programs. The employee app adds focus and self-leadership tools, alongside an AI coach called Riley. The business offering links employee wellbeing to profitability and gives managers and employees tools to act. Pulse measurements can reach employees by SMS, email or the app, while the company says its AI identifies trends, patterns and root causes to highlight areas for action. Managers and HR see aggregated, anonymized team data; individual usage patterns, journal entries and personal goals are not shared with employers. Remente says it is GDPR compliant and stores data on EU-based servers. Available on Android, iOS and the web, the app lists Google, Apple HealthKit and Facebook as possible connections. Business plans include Coach at €190 a month, Pulse at €290 a month and Performance at €390 a month, each with a minimum three-month commitment.
