In their own words
Planning Ops
Planning Ops is an operations app for concrete subcontractors, combining pour scheduling, crew planning, project schedules, and daily reports. Place & Finish provides a drag-and-drop pour board with live project weather, conflict alerts, automatic quantity totals, and one-click notifications. Manpower includes a 52-week crew board, timeline and job views, roster and PTO tracking, projections, time and certification tracking, and payroll export presets for ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, Gusto, Paylocity, Sage, Vista, and Foundation, plus Excel and Universal CSV. Daily Reports creates signed, numbered field reports with safety details, delays, and photos; submitted hours go to time tracking. Users can confirm, reschedule, or cancel pours and notify project, crew, ready-mix, pump, and subcontractor contacts. The platform costs $149 a month, billed monthly or annually, with three working seats included and extra seats at $20/mo. It has an iPhone and iPad app requiring iOS 15.0 or later. There is no Android app, though the workspace can be accessed in a browser on Android and desktop. Customer data is isolated using Postgres row-level security. The maker lists Charleston, South Carolina as its location.
Werx
Werx is contractor management software for trade contractors, covering work from estimates through final payment. Users can create itemized or proposal estimates for clients to approve online, manage AIA-style G702/G703 pay applications, schedules of values and retainage, and track budget-to-actual costs and profitability by cost code. It also supports time-and-material invoicing with labor and material tracking. Werx syncs in both directions with QuickBooks Online on every plan; QuickBooks Desktop is not supported. Customers can pay invoices by credit card or ACH through Stripe. The iOS and Android Field App supports time tracking, Extra Work Authorizations and customer signatures; a full mobile version is described as coming soon. Werx is available on the web, iOS and Android, and is aimed at small-to-midsized contractors, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, landscaping and remodeling businesses. Month-to-month plans cost $49.00 per month for 10 active projects, $89.00 for 20, or $119.00 for unlimited active projects. Inactive projects do not count toward the limit. There is no free plan, but a 14-day trial requires no credit card.
