Plexxis is a construction platform built exclusively for subcontractors, connecting field work, finance, and operations. Its solutions include estimating, project management, accounting and payroll, mobile field tools, equipment, and residential work; Planning & Scheduling is listed as in development. Estimating brings together digital takeoff, cloud team collaboration, historical cost analysis, and links among bids, budgets, operations, and accounting. Project management covers job progress, change orders, budget-versus-actual reporting, document collaboration, and workflows and approvals. Mobile apps support timecards, daily reports, T&M tickets, material requisitions, and offline work, with GPS validation for check-ins and check-outs. Accounting and payroll include job costing, union and certified payroll, live WIP reporting, and cost projections. The equipment module tracks owned and rented assets, utilization, costs, maintenance, and certifications. Plexxis offers API connections and cloud or HyperCloud hosting options. Implementation averages 4–12 months, depending on company complexity and other factors.

Teams can work with project records and processes such as contracts and change orders. The mobile app, included with every version, lets teams access project information in the field on iOS and Android. Developers can use the API to extract, view, and update project data. The Trimble Marketplace lists integrations including Procore, Spectrum, Trimble Connect, Unity Construct, and Vista. Its Trimble Connect integration links construction documents, models, and project workflows in a common data environment. Vista integration requires cloud-deployed Vista and is unavailable to on-premises customers. ProjectSight is designed for general contractors, MEP contractors, and specialty subcontractors.
