Poised
Poised describes itself as an AI communication coach that gives real-time feedback during calls and tracks progress privately. Feedback covers words spoken, filler words, confidence, energy, and empathy, with customizable alerts and meters. It says it tracks speech trends over time, points out moments to learn from, and provides a recap after each meeting. A personalized learning plan can include assessments, in-meeting challenges, videos, exercises, and articles from Poised experts. The homepage also describes live speaker notes, automatic marking of covered items, and meeting summaries and action items without a bot joining the meeting. Poised says it works with 800+ communication tools, including Zoom, Google Meet, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. It supports macOS and Windows and lists product managers, executives, founders, interviewers, salespeople, consultants, and managers among its intended users. The homepage states that Poised is shutting down on 10/8/2026. The privacy policy says it retains recordings for enabled meetings, but not recordings of other meeting participants.
Speakeroo
Speakeroo is an AI speaking coach for English learners that analyzes practice recordings and gives feedback on pronunciation, fluency, pace, grammar, vocabulary, and confidence. Practice options include shadowing, reading aloud, impromptu speaking, conversation, and public speaking. Practice cards can be selected based on issues found in earlier takes. In shadowing, a native speaker clip plays line by line, and the app marks words that differ in the learner’s recording. Conversation practice uses a spoken partner that listens, replies, and follows up, with up to four replies described. Feedback marks pace, fluency, and filler words in a transcript, then gives one strength and one suggested fix per take. Plus tracks recurring speaking habits and trends across sessions. Free includes two practice sessions each day, and the first daily session can be used without an account. The service is available on Android, iOS, and web. Team costs $6 per member per month with a two-seat minimum; Plus costs $39.99 a year, billed once yearly.
