In their own words
Pool Brain
Pool Brain is pool service management software for companies, including larger businesses and teams that want to grow. Staff can create quotes on the web or in the app, and approved quotes automatically become jobs. The platform supports automatic or manual invoices and payments, with flat-rate or per-visit billing and advance or arrears billing. Route tools include one-click optimization, drag-and-drop stops, and real-time progress. Custom guided workflows can require technicians to complete tasks in a set order and at set times. The app calculates chemical dosage recommendations from technician-entered readings and tracks chemical use and costs; the Orenda Calculator supports automatic dosing and LSI calculations. The technician app works without a cell signal and syncs job data when connectivity returns. Pool Brain also supports two-way QuickBooks Online synchronization, though invoice edits containing bundle line items do not sync back. A customer portal shows past job and route-stop details. It runs on the web, iOS, and Android, and offers a 30-day free trial. The pricing page does not display a subscription price.
PoolControl Pro
PoolControl Pro brings client records, route planning, work orders, inventory, and invoicing together for pool maintenance companies. Its visual planner assigns technicians, schedules recurring routes, and supports drag-and-drop rescheduling. Technicians can view daily routes, navigate to pools, record readings and completed tasks, and work offline; saved data syncs when connectivity returns. A chemical calculator uses measured pool parameters to suggest products and doses, and applied products can be added to work-order consumption. Invoices can be generated from work orders and maintenance contracts, including with a bulk invoicing assistant. Clients can use a web portal with magic-link access to view pool status, visit history, invoices, and incidents without installing anything. Administrators can assign roles and permissions to restrict access to sensitive data. The help center describes data exports, calendar synchronization, webhooks, and API access, and names Sage and A3 as accounting connections. PoolControl Pro supports Android, iOS, and web. Its Beta access plan costs nothing and includes all modules during beta; commercial plans start at €59/month depending on operation size.
