Overview

TableSat brings guest-facing menus and reservations together with tools for managing service. Staff can divide tables into sections, set seat counts, seat walk-ins, manage a waitlist, and track turns and sellable gaps through the night. That makes it a practical fit for restaurants coordinating bookings and seating, but not a general-purpose restaurant platform.

Reservations can include allergies, access needs, and seating preferences, giving staff useful context before guests arrive. Approved private-event bookings sync to a connected Google Calendar and update as bookings change. The event pricing is informational only: TableSat has no card form, takes no deposit, and does not process payments. Venues that need to collect event charges will need another payment route.

Key features

Reservations, floor operations, and menus

The public booking page gives guests a direct way to reserve, while the floor plan, walk-in seating, waitlist, and turn tracking support service flow. The menu builder handles multiple languages and allergen tags, and public indexable menu pages can help guests find menus online. QR codes can link to menus, bookings, or a link hub. Together these features cover several guest and staff touchpoints without per-cover fees.

Groups and mobile access

Groups can manage multiple locations from one account, with separate floors and team-member roles. The admin is a responsive website for phones and tablets, not a native app; TableSat suggests adding the site to an iOS or Android home screen. That works for browser-based access, but is a drawback for teams that specifically want an app.

TableSat publishes a privacy policy, terms, cookie notice, and data processing agreement, and provides an email address for personal-data access, correction, or deletion requests. Free-plan support is by email; the maker says the small team that builds the software also answers customer messages.

Pricing

The free plan is free and includes a public profile menu page, a guest-facing restaurant page with links, and email support. It does not include online bookings, so it is useful for establishing a basic guest-facing presence, not for running reservations through TableSat.

Starter costs $49.00 USD per month, billed at $49 per location per month. It covers one location, reservations and walk-ins, a floor plan and table assignment, a public booking page, and team access. This is the entry point for restaurants that need online bookings and service tools; the flat per-location charge avoids per-cover fees.

Growth costs $99.00 USD per month, billed at $99 per location per month, and includes everything in Starter. Advanced reporting, automated guest messaging and CRM, and a multi-location dashboard are marked as coming features, so they should not be treated as current reasons to upgrade. Groups can run multiple locations with separate floors and team roles, but the published location limit is one; operators should clarify how their group setup fits before choosing a plan.

A free trial is available. No trial length or paid-plan renewal terms are provided in the plan details, so this review does not assume them.

Platforms

TableSat supports Android, iOS, and web through its responsive website. The lack of a native app is the key trade-off: phone and tablet access is available in a browser, with home-screen installation as the maker's suggested workaround.

Who it's for

TableSat is aimed at independent restaurants that want a direct booking page, floor management, menu publishing, and waitlist tools in one service. It is a stronger fit for teams that value per-location pricing and control over table flow than for venues seeking a native app, payment processing for private events, or the advanced reporting and messaging features marked as coming to Growth.

Pros and cons

Direct reservations and floor tools in one service: booking pages, walk-ins, waitlists, table assignment, and turn tracking support the same service workflow.
Menu publishing has useful guest-facing detail: multilingual menus, allergen tags, indexable pages, and QR codes help restaurants present menus and booking links.
Flat per-location paid pricing: Starter begins at $49 per location per month, with no per-cover charge described.
Free is limited to a profile: restaurants need a paid plan to accept online bookings.
No native app or event payment processing: mobile access is browser-based, and private-event charges must be collected elsewhere.
Growth's headline additions are coming features: advanced reporting, automated guest messaging/CRM, and its multi-location dashboard are not presented as current capabilities.
