RepairMyVideo vs Tembrica Video Repair

RepairMyVideo is a web service that attempts to restore playback of damaged video files by rebuilding their container index. It accepts MP4, MOV, MKV, and AVI files, with listed codec support including H.264, HEVC, MPEG-4, Canon Cinema MJPEG, and AverMedia c285 captures. Processing is automatic, and a recovered file must pass an automated playability check before it is offered. A healthy clip from the same camera is optional and may help if the damaged file structure is entirely destroyed. Sony XDCAM/XAVC card folders can be uploaded for combination into one MP4; Panasonic AVCHD and Canon Cinema recordings are handled as individual clips. Direct uploads are supported up to 25 GB, while camera-card folders packaged in the browser work up to about 4 GB. Larger files can be supplied through a Google Drive link. The service is free during beta, with analysis, repair, preview, and download included. It cannot recover missing or zero-byte files, address DRM or streaming problems, or fix videos that play but look wrong. It does not guarantee recovery of any particular file.
