Scalapay
Scalapay lets customers split purchases at participating online and physical stores into instalments, while the merchant receives the full amount immediately. Pay in 3 divides a purchase into three instalments without interest for the customer. Pay in 4 uses four instalments, though a customer fee may apply depending on the offer. Pay by Link also lets customers choose three or four instalments. Online shoppers can select Scalapay at checkout and pay with Visa, Mastercard, or Amex; its iOS and Android app can generate a barcode for in-store checkout. Merchants pay a commission on each order, with personalized fees disclosed after registration. Ready-made plugins cover platforms including Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, and Salesforce, and merchants can use integration guides and API documentation. Scalapay says it assumes the risk when customers fail to pay instalments and provides support from merchant onboarding through post-launch. The service was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Milan, Italy. Its platforms include web, iOS, Android, and API access.
