In their own words
SAP Customer Data Platform
SAP Customer Data Platform brings customer data together into profiles for individual and account-level B2B and B2C use cases. It surfaces insights in real time to support personalized engagement, revenue growth, and retention. The platform combines identity and purpose data, then coordinates customer data with engagement systems according to privacy permissions; it can also activate profile data customers share directly with permission. Generative AI enriches customer insights and operational intelligence, while ongoing attribute calculations support segmentation and real-time decisions. SAP describes a native ERP connection and integrations using a common data model with ERP, supply chain management, and other cloud solutions. Data can enter through prebuilt or custom connectors, APIs, or batch ingestion, including legacy imports from Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Storage, and SFTP. REST APIs support ingestion, querying, deletion, and auditing administrative operations and updates. The product is a multitenant SaaS service, available through web and API. Pricing is paid, with no free plan; the listed SAP Customer Data Platform plan costs $1.15 a month, billed monthly, in blocks of 1 Capacity Unit per month, on a 3-to-36-month contract. Pricing depends on data objects, storage, and insight configurations.
