Overview

Scholva Behavior & Discipline is a student conduct and case-management system for schools and educational institutions. It is a strong fit for teams that need to take incidents from initial report through intervention and family communication, rather than keep a standalone discipline log. Its free plan offers a practical way to start, but the 200-student limit narrows its usefulness for larger institutions.

Key features

Teachers can record a student, witnesses, severity, and evidence in under two minutes. Reports can then be investigated, assigned, tracked against deadlines, and closed with resolution steps. That follow-through is the product’s central strength: it gives staff a workflow for acting on reports, not just a place to store them.

Conduct history combines positive and negative behavior in one student record. Recognition points and gamification give schools a way to reinforce positive conduct alongside disciplinary action. Intervention capabilities include behavior improvement plans, counseling referrals, suspension and expulsion records, PBIS support, and staff training logs. This breadth will suit institutions coordinating several kinds of follow-up; a school that only needs incident capture may not need the full set.

Parent notification rules can batch minor incidents into weekly updates or send immediate alerts for serious cases. Records connect with Scholva Academics, parent Portals, and Analytics, making the system more compelling for institutions using those modules. Listed integrations include Google Workspace and Google Classroom, as well as Razorpay, WhatsApp Business, SMS gateways, biometric devices, GPS fleet hardware, DigiLocker, and CSV/Excel.

Scholva says it encrypts stored data with AES-256 and connections with TLS 1.3, and provides role-based access controls and audit trails. It says data is hosted in India on SOC 2 certified infrastructure and offers a Data Processing Agreement on all plans. The homepage says its team replies within a working day and helps with setup, data import, and staff training.

Pricing

Scholva uses a freemium model. Its Free plan is free, includes incident tracking, positive reinforcement, PBIS support, intervention plans, and family communication, and is available forever for up to 200 students. That is a substantial starting tier for smaller schools or a limited rollout, but institutions above the cap will need another plan. A free trial is also offered.

Platforms

Scholva runs on Android, iOS, and the web, covering mobile and browser use across common school devices.

Who it's for

Scholva is built for K–12 schools, colleges, and coaching institutes. It is best suited to teams that need structured incident follow-up, intervention records, and configurable parent communication, particularly when they also use Scholva’s connected Academics, parent Portals, or Analytics modules. Buyers looking for a basic log without case workflows may find its broader scope unnecessary.

Pros and cons

End-to-end incident workflow: Reports can move through investigation, assignment, deadlines, and resolution, helping staff track action after the initial entry.
Positive conduct and interventions included: Recognition points, PBIS support, and intervention records extend the system beyond punitive discipline.
Configurable parent alerts: Weekly batching for minor incidents and immediate alerts for serious ones let schools match notification frequency to severity.
Useful free tier, with a firm ceiling: The plan covers up to 200 students forever, making it viable for small institutions but not larger ones.
School-oriented data and support provisions: Scholva describes encryption, access controls, audit trails, India hosting, a DPA on all plans, and setup and training help.

Class Charts is worth considering if you want a free plan and are prepared to request a demo for pricing. PowerSchool Behavior Support is a paid Android, iOS, and web alternative; contact PowerSchool for a demo. Notis is another paid Android, iOS, and web choice; its school subscription is described as modest, with pricing through a demo. Verdict

Choose Scholva if your institution needs incident reports tied to case resolution, interventions, conduct history, and parent alerts, and its free plan’s 200-student cap fits your scale. The main reason to look elsewhere is that this entry tier stops at 200 students, while the broader workflow may be unnecessary if all you need is a simple discipline log.
