In their own words
ScreenMeet Remote Support
ScreenMeet Remote Support lets technology professionals remotely view and control end-user or customer devices to troubleshoot issues. Its tools include remote access and control, screen sharing, file transfer, diagnostics, and unattended support, along with multi-monitor support, session transfer, annotation, and session recording. AI session summaries generate case notes, while Agent Assist offers real-time troubleshooting recommendations. The product runs inside ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Tanium workflows; sessions can launch from those interfaces and activity can be documented in incidents or tickets. Security controls include consent tracking, audit trails, geo-fencing, and configurable data and file storage locations. ScreenMeet says it maintains annual SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 certifications and supports GDPR compliance. Its security document describes TLS and DTLS 1.2+ encryption in transit and AES-256 for sensitive data at rest. It supports desktop, mobile, and browser access, as well as API. The stated requirements include Windows 11, Windows Server 2022 and 2025, macOS 15 and 26, Ubuntu 18.04.3+, Red Hat 7.6+, iOS 12.3.x+, and Android 13+. Pricing is on request; a 14-day trial is listed.
ThinLinc
ThinLinc centrally hosts Linux applications and desktops in a data center or cloud, then makes them available for remote access from Windows, macOS, Linux, or a web browser. Its server feature list includes high availability, fail-over, clustering, load balancing, multiple sessions per user, and single-application publishing. Authentication options include passwords, one-time passwords, public keys, smart cards, and Kerberos tickets. Traffic passes through SSH tunnels and TLS, with encrypted pixels sent to clients. ThinLinc includes TigerVNC, noVNC, OpenSSH, CUPS, and PulseAudio. The maker describes the software as suitable for demanding EDA and CAD workloads, including access from different locations. The server allows three concurrent graphical sessions by default; a separate free license file raises this to ten concurrent users. ThinLinc offers free time-limited evaluation licenses. Its free plan is listed at free, for 10 concurrent users. Standard is $122 a year per user and Premium is $168 a year per user; both are billed in advance for 12 months and cover 1–10 users.
