Its searchable people directory filters profile data by skills, roles, and other information. An automatically updated org chart uses company people data to show formal and informal reporting lines. Profiles can include skills, experience, projects, interests, pronouns, name pronunciation, and languages. Sift aggregates employee data from multiple systems into one profile, using prebuilt identity connectors and SFTP workflows. Sift does not offer native messaging or chat.

Staffbase is an employee experience platform connecting workplace communications, knowledge, and actions. It targets frontline, deskless, and office-based employees, including people without corporate email. Communication channels include a native employee app, intranet, targeted email, digital signage, and Microsoft 365. Features cover personalized communications, employee self-service, knowledge search, tasks, services, AI assistance, audience targeting, news publishing, page building, an employee directory, and single sign-on. Content ownership, smart tagging, and automated review workflows support information governance. MCP Client and Server connections let employees query workplace systems and expose Staffbase content to AI tools under role-based access controls. Customers can choose EU, US, or Australian hosting. Staffbase states that listed facilities meet ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and that GDPR and HIPAA requirements are supported. AI features use isolated environments, encryption, and can be disabled.
