In their own words
SkedPal
SkedPal turns a to-do list into a time-blocked schedule shaped by priorities, available time, and calendar events. Its planning tools include an Outline for organizing tasks, a Board for prioritizing them, and a Calendar for placing work at preferred times. A Status Tracker follows current activity while the schedule adapts to changes. Calendar sync supports Google, Office 365, and iCloud; Core allows one account, while Pro allows unlimited accounts. Asana task titles, descriptions, and due dates sync both ways, although schedules made in SkedPal do not sync with Asana. Zapier connects it with apps such as Google Sheets, Slack, Trello, and Airtable. Users can email tasks to a dedicated address, but attachments larger than 2 MB are not received. Planning is mainly done in the web app; mobile apps are available for iOS and Android, and Status Tracker desktop apps are available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Core costs $9.95 a month billed annually; Pro costs $14.95 a month billed annually. There is a 14-day trial and no free plan.
Taskal
Taskal is a web-based scheduling service that uses AI to place tasks into open calendar time. Enter a task in plain English, and Taskal turns it into a structured item with a schedule. You can set priorities, categories, due dates, durations, and status to organize and track work. Automatic scheduling considers your working hours and preferences, so tasks are not assigned during off-time. Two-way Google Calendar synchronization keeps tasks and calendar events aligned. Multiple Google accounts can be connected to a unified calendar view. Taskal also provides task organization alongside calendar planning, with Google Calendar named as its calendar connection. The service is free to use: its Free plan is free, and no credit card is required. It runs on the web, and you can sign in with Google to begin.
