In their own words
Snowflake CoCo
Snowflake CoCo is an AI coding agent for data engineering, analytics, machine learning, and agent-building work in Snowflake. It is available in Snowsight, as desktop software, and through a command-line interface. In Snowsight, it can create SQL and Python notebook code from natural-language requests, explain or optimize queries, and answer account administration questions. Desktop mode offers agent and editor workflows, local repository access, plugins, skills, hooks, MCP connections, and interaction with web pages and Snowflake notebooks. The CLI can connect to Snowflake, execute SQL, access local files, and run bash and git operations. Its security controls include role-based access, OS sandboxing, approval tiers, and automatic risk assessment. CoCo supports code completion, chat assistance, codebase indexing, and terminal access; an Agent Client Protocol preview supports use with Zed, JetBrains, VS Code, and Neovim. Access requires cross-region inference. The 30-day introductory trial includes $40 USD in inference credits, followed by a $20 USD monthly subscription fee; separate Snowflake compute and storage charges may apply. Usage can also be billed by token consumption.
ZenML
ZenML orchestrates AI and machine-learning pipelines and agents written in Python. Pipelines can run on Kubernetes, Vertex AI, SageMaker, AzureML, or a laptop without rewriting code. ZenML versions step outputs such as models and evaluation datasets, supports re-execution from any step, and reuses cached results when code and inputs have not changed. Deployment choices include local, SaaS, and self-hosted setups, with Docker and Kubernetes Helm methods. ZenML says it stores metadata while data, artifacts, and compute remain in the customer's infrastructure or VPC. Its integrations directory lists 66 tools, including LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, PyTorch, MLflow, AWS, and Google Cloud Vertex AI Pipelines. The self-hosted Open Source plan is free and includes unlimited executions and projects. Scale costs $999 a month and includes 2,000 executions, three projects, and five snapshots. Enterprise has custom pricing and adds SSO, custom-role RBAC, audit logs, and air-gapped deployment. ZenML says it is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified.
