In their own words
Tradescraft
Tradescraft is job-management software for trades businesses, organizing quoting, scheduling, dispatch, safety records, invoicing and payments around each job. Teams can track enquiries, accept quotes online, manage recurring jobs, use checklists and connect calendar feeds. An operations map brings jobs, crew locations and shared GIS overlays together. The product also covers stock, purchase orders, staff and subcontractors, timesheets, vehicle compliance, inspections, contracts and equipment catalogs. Safety records can reflect country requirements, with incident reporting and optional checks before dispatch. Xero supports sales-invoice syncing and payment reconciliation, and supplier bills and purchase orders can be sent to it; Xero is unavailable for US accounts. Tradescraft is listed for Australia, New Zealand and the United States, with features and pricing varying by country. It runs on Android, iOS and web, but photo or signature evidence for pre-start checks must be completed in the browser field view rather than the native app. The Core plan is A$29 per user per month, billed monthly, with unlimited jobs, customers and sites. A free trial is available.
traqR
traqR is a field service platform for Australian fire protection contractors, covering AS 1851 servicing, fire asset registers, defects, and AFSS readiness. It connects contracts, scheduling, on-site testing, reporting, defect quoting, and invoicing. Its asset register supports QR scanning, service intervals, inspection history, and defect tracking. Technicians can capture work without a signal and sync it when connectivity returns; the field app runs in a phone browser, while a native iPhone app is in beta testing. AI agents can draft quotes from plain-English job descriptions and prepare safety documents such as SWMS. Connections to Xero and QuickBooks Online sync accounting information, including invoices and expenses, and customers can take card payments through Stripe. Plans start at A$99 a month for one to five users, with unlimited jobs, clients, and assets and all features included. Higher listed tiers cost 199.00 AUD, 399.00 AUD, and A$799 a month for larger user groups. A 14-day trial is available. The maker says user sign-in uses two-factor authentication and each business's data is kept separate.
