Agendrix
Agendrix is online workforce management software for shift-based teams. Managers can create and share schedules, collect availability and requests, manage time off and shift swaps, and notify qualified employees about open shifts. Employees can clock in from a computer, tablet, mobile app with GPS, RFID card, or barcode, with time entries gathered in timesheets. Essential includes scheduling, communication, request management, and reporting; Plus adds HR management, surveys, customizable permissions, employee records, document storage, and electronic signatures. Add-ons cover phone clock-ins, automated time tracking, premiums, resources, and expenses. Integrations include QuickBooks, ADP Workforce Now, Lightspeed, Nethris, Sage 50, Payworks, and Ceridian Powerpay. It is available on web, Android, and iOS, and the pricing comparison lists API access. Agendrix says it follows ISO/IEC 27001:2022, GDPR, and Quebec Law 25, and provides unlimited chat, email, and phone support seven days a week with training. Pricing starts at 3.25 CAD/user/mo, with no free plan and a trial of up to 21 days.
Ferry
Ferry automates restaurant tip calculations by connecting point-of-sale and workforce systems, applying operator-set pooling rules, and calculating employee tips at shift end. Operators can configure pool percentages by role, job code, shift, time of day, or location. Ferry creates downloadable per-employee, per-shift reports with job codes and pool rates, described as audit-ready, and says it tracks multi-state tip compliance with minimum distribution thresholds, tipped-credit rules, and guardrails. Ferry Pay can distribute tips to a Ferry Pay Card, a nominated bank account, or through payroll; card funding is described as taking under 60 seconds. Workers can optionally access a portion of wages they have already earned before payday. The Ferry Pay Card lists a $0 activation fee and $0 monthly fees, while US out-of-network ATM withdrawals carry a $3 fee.
