AIRFP vs Presel

AIRFP is an AI workspace for teams answering requests for proposals. It breaks RFP specifications into requirements, constraints, and showstoppers, then scores opportunities against customizable qualification criteria for go/no-go decisions. The platform processes questionnaires and Excel grids in their original formats and can create a compliance matrix from prospect documents when no grid exists. Its shared editor lets sales, presales, and subject experts work together with an AI co-pilot aligned to the response strategy. Word, Excel, PDF, and PowerPoint documents can supply a reusable knowledge base, including structured and unstructured data in multiple languages. Generated answers show named source extracts and confidence scores for verification. AIRFP describes SaaS and on-premise deployment, including customer infrastructure. It says data is hosted on AWS Europe in Frankfurt with a dedicated database, AES-256 encryption, and zero AI retention; ISO 27001 certification is in progress. Pricing is paid from €590/mo, while the pricing page displayed a maintenance notice.

Presel is a web-based pre-sales kit and RFP response tool for bid teams. Its Bid Manager handles RFP intake, requirement extraction and mapping, evidence-backed drafting, quality gates, and controlled Word export. The toolkit converts Markdown into editable Word and PDF documents, and can import Word documents back into Markdown. Users can create and preview Mermaid and PlantUML diagrams for documents. AI features can use a user's Cursor, OpenAI, or Anthropic provider, or work offline. The free toolkit includes a 50 MB personal drive and one knowledge base, but no RFP projects or organization seats. The Trial provides Pro for seven days without a credit card; after it ends, the account returns to Free toolkit limits if not upgraded. Plus costs $19 a month, billed at $19 per seat per month, and Pro costs $49 a month, billed at $49 per seat per month. Presel names bid managers, commercial teams, and solution architects as users of Bid Manager workspaces. Enterprise SAML/OIDC single sign-on is not available in self-serve plans today.
