| Notable limits | The attendance tracker requires an internet connection to record check-ins, and its Free plan supports up to 50 attendees. | Classes, Access, Access Pro, Shop and Custom Gamification are add-ons rather than part of the base plan. |
| Security | Attenditai states that data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2+ and at rest with AES-256, and that staff support access requires customer permission. | PATO says each gym’s data is isolated at the database level and staff access is role-based. |
| Support | Attenditai lists [email protected] and phone numbers +1 (929) 693-5963 and +49 152 19402898 as contact details. | PATO says customers who email receive help from a person who built the product. |
| What it does | Attenditai records timestamped attendance through QR or barcode passes, browser kiosks, personal links, manual entry and passkeys, then provides downloadable evidence. | PATO is an AI-first gym operating system combining member engagement, coaching, bookings, access, billing, shop and rewards. |

In their own words
Attenditai
Attenditai provides attendance tracking and check-in for classes, shifts, services, and events, including fitness studios and sports clubs. Its fitness offering is aimed at gyms, Pilates and yoga studios, martial arts schools, sports clubs, and recreation centers. Attendees can use QR or barcode passes, a shared link, a web kiosk, or manual check-in; no app installation is required. Fitness customers can set recurring class sheets by weekday, with rosters rolling forward automatically, and import member lists from Excel or CSV with names, photos, and membership types. Attendance reports export to Excel or PDF and show trends across classes, instructors, and time slots. Separate check-ins and per-location reporting are available from one dashboard. Attenditai runs in a browser, with optional kiosk apps for iPad and Android tablets. It offers a Free plan for up to 50 attendees and a 30-day trial; paid plans start at $99/mo (annual). Recording check-ins requires an internet connection.
PATO
PATO is an AI-first gym management system for owners and members, available on Android, iOS, and web. Members can use its AI to log meals, build training and meal plans, book classes, and ask billing questions. Food entries can be made by photo, text, voice, or label scan, with estimates matched against a catalogue of 11K+ verified foods. Coaching tools include 2.9K+ movements and a plan builder for programs from 2 to 24 weeks. PATO detects at-risk members and supports automated or drafted outreach, recording each send. Gyms connect their own Stripe or GoCardless account for card and direct debit payments; PATO says it takes no percentage of member payments, while gyms pay the processor directly. Access provides QR check-in, and Access Pro can control compatible smart locks, keypads, and card readers. Classes, Access, Access Pro, Shop, and Custom Gamification are add-ons rather than base-plan features. PATO says gym data is isolated at the database level and staff access is role-based. It stores customer data in Australia under New Zealand privacy obligations; its AI does not give medical advice and routes injury, pain, and medical questions to gym coaches.
