In their own words
Basware
Basware is a procure-to-pay platform that automates work across procurement, accounts payable, and invoice processing. Its e-invoicing tools capture invoices submitted through different supplier channels; AI can code and route them, match them against records, and handle exceptions. Procurement capabilities include hosted catalogs, supplier management, guided request intake, stock integration, and approval workflows that issue purchase orders when requisitions are approved. Basware says its solutions connect to more than 250 ERP systems, including SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft, through open APIs and certified integrations. They can also use purchase-order data from existing procurement or ERP systems, complementing rather than replacing those systems. The platform is available on Android, iOS, and the web, with API access. Basware identifies global organizations processing more than 50,000 invoices annually, finance shared service centers, and multi-ERP environments as potential fits. Support is available by chat, web, and phone, plus a 24/7 AI-powered self-service chatbot. Pricing is tailored and available on request; no free plan is listed.
PeppolSoft
PeppolSoft is a Peppol Access Point for exchanging electronic invoices through DBNA in the United States and OpenPeppol in Europe. Its API sends and receives invoices, while a browser-based platform handles transactions, document status, format validation and connected participants. The service uses a four-corner model: access points route documents between suppliers and buyers, supporting interoperability without bilateral integrations. Buyers can verify invoice authenticity and integrity and securely store and retrieve invoice PDFs and related documents. Annual subscriptions include unlimited electronic document transactions. Plans include Starter at $1,200 a year, Essential at $2,400 a year, Growth at $4,800 a year and Enterprise at $12,000 a year. A free Buyer plan supports receiving through the web portal and app; ERP integration is subject to request and budget approval. The homepage also lists $0.10 sent or received, with API use, registration, sandbox access and idle periods with no transactions free. The DBNAlliance validation API requires UBL 2.3 and cannot process XHE; United Kingdom availability is coming soon.
