In their own words
Beds24
Beds24 is cloud software for accommodation providers, combining booking, property, and channel management. Its channel manager exchanges inventory and prices with connected channels through two-way XML and imports bookings; iCal synchronization is also available. A customizable, mobile-friendly booking page supports commission-free direct bookings. Property tools cover housekeeping, guest management, room assignment, and front-desk work, alongside automated messaging, dynamic pricing, cleaning management, and payment processing. Beds24 offers web access and iOS and Android apps for managing bookings, arrivals and departures, availability, and Airbnb and Booking.com messages. API V2 provides third parties access to accounts, properties, bookings, and inventory, with read-only and read/write token options. Its integration marketplace lists partners across accounting, business intelligence, compliance, distribution, guest experience, and property operations. Beds24 says it uses 256-bit SSL encryption and regular backups, and describes itself as a GDPR-compliant SaaS data processor. A listed hostel plan for one dorm and one bed costs €15.90 a month, billed monthly with no minimum term; channel manager and integrations cost extra. A free trial is available.
Mews Accounting
Mews Accounting is hotel accounting software that updates financial information from deposits through checkout and invoicing in real time. Its live ledger tracks deposits, in-stay balances, and receivables, with drill-down from totals to individual bills. Teams can download a date-locked trial balance as PDF or Excel, with taxes separated from revenue across rooms and outlets. Charge-routing rules assign nights, taxes, and extras to a guest, company, or group organizer, with reservation- or guest-level exceptions. Built-in Accounts Receivable supports invoice issuance through reconciliation; teams can also send reminder batches, produce company statements, pause reminders during disputes, and share reminder history. Shared settings and templates support consistent revenue categories and accounting mappings across properties. Ledger and trial-balance data can be exported as PDF, Excel, or CSV, or supplied through open APIs. Mews names QuickBooks, Xero, and Yardi among integrations and links to a marketplace with more than 1,000 integrations. It runs on web and through an API. Pricing is on request, varies by property, and payment processing fees are separate from the subscription.
