Better Impact Volunteer Impact
Better Impact Volunteer Impact is a volunteer management platform that brings volunteer activities and records into one system. Organizations can publish customizable application forms on their websites, while volunteers use a portal or app to choose shifts, view schedules, and log hours. The platform includes eLearning and an online resource library for training, along with email and SMS communications. Reporting and analytics help track volunteer work and analyze programs. It integrates with other Better Impact products and with Sterling Volunteers for background checks; its API provides access to profile and activity data over HTTPS using HTTP Basic Authentication. Better Impact states that its processes and technical security are ISO 27001 certified, and that data is encrypted in transit and at rest with GDPR compliance and optional two-factor authentication. Phone, chat, and email support is available 24 hours a day, five days a week. Pricing is provided on request and is based on accepted and inactive volunteer profiles; applicants, in-process, and archived profiles are not charged. The platform serves nonprofits, faith-based organizations, educational institutions, healthcare systems, parks, and government agencies.
EventRota
EventRota is rota and volunteer management software for coordinating staff and volunteers at events. Organisers can assign people to positions and shifts in a rota grid, using auto-fill, shuffle, drag-and-drop changes, and rotation sequences. Volunteers can set availability by shift, and the service can send reminder emails. Organisers can share documents, announcements, key contacts, venue maps, and position maps; volunteers can view their rota, respond to invitations, and check maps and updates through a mobile browser or app. The service runs on Android, iOS, and the web. The free plan costs nothing and includes up to 10 people and 200 emails. Paid plans are billed per event: Small is $30, paid once, Medium is $50, paid once, and Large is $100, paid once. Email support is included on every plan, with replies within one working day. EventRota is designed for one-off event workflows, not recurring schedules or timesheets. If an event reaches its included email limit, sending pauses until an email top-up is added.
