In their own words
BugSnag
BugSnag monitors mobile and web applications to help development teams find errors, resolve them, and deploy stable releases. Its error inbox groups issues by root cause and sorts them by user impact. Captured diagnostics can include stack traces, threads, breadcrumbs, device details, and user information. Stability Center provides a 30-day stability score and trend analysis for each application, while performance monitoring captures app starts, screen loads, and Web Vitals. BugSnag provides error-reporting libraries for more than 50 platforms, including Android, iOS, JavaScript, macOS, Flutter, and React Native. Integrations named include Slack, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, OpsGenie, GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Splunk, and Amazon SQS. The Free plan lists one user, 7,500 events and 1 million spans per month, and seven days of data retention; a 14-day free trial is also listed. Select and Preferred list 60 days of retention. Enterprise offers custom retention and can be hosted on customer infrastructure or a cloud instance. Enterprise security features include two-factor authentication, SAML single sign-on, sensitive data management, and user audit logs.
Embrace
Embrace is a real user monitoring platform for mobile and web that connects technical performance with individual user sessions. Mobile monitoring captures sessions and provides crash, ANR, network and performance insights. Web monitoring includes session timelines, Core Web Vitals, error reporting, custom metrics and alerting. Crashes, network requests, custom events and Core Web Vitals can be viewed in session context. The platform is built on OpenTelemetry; Embrace says customers own their data and can connect it to other tools. Documented instrumentation covers Android, iOS, web, React Native, Unity and Flutter. Dashboards, SLO support and user journey analysis are available, and data can be forwarded through data destination and OpenTelemetry interfaces. Mobile and web sessions count toward the same usage total. The free tier allows up to 1 million sessions per year and five users, with three days of event retention; reaching either cap stops additional ingestion or user additions unless the customer upgrades. Pro is listed at $0.80 per month, with an $80 monthly minimum spend. A 30-day trial is listed.
