Overview

Customers can book around the clock through a shareable page without downloading an app or creating an account. That low-friction route works for appointments, on-site visits, classes, consultations and rentals. Calday brings scheduling, reminders and client records together, so it can cover more of a small service operation than a standalone booking page.

Two-way sync with Google Calendar, Outlook and iCloud helps align availability across calendars. Scheduling controls for buffer time, booking lead time, advance notice, cancellations and rescheduling give operators ways to protect their working hours. The free plan's one-integration cap, however, may force businesses using several calendars to choose which connection to keep.

Key features

Booking and client management

Automatic email reminders are described for 24 hours and one hour before appointments, helping reduce missed bookings without requiring the business to send each reminder manually. Client profiles hold contact details, notes and booking history, which gives providers useful context for repeat visits. Calday also describes a mobile app for managing bookings, clients and payments from a phone.

Virtual appointments and payments

For remote sessions, Calday can create Zoom or Google Meet links and include them in confirmation emails. Stripe handles deposits, full payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Calday says it adds no transaction fee. Payment collection is a Pro feature, so Free users can manage bookings but cannot use this payment workflow through Calday.

Calday says it uses encrypted connections and secure cloud infrastructure; its privacy policy describes SSL transmission and GDPR controls as part of its baseline. It lists 24/7 support, with priority support on Pro, and its help page offers email and live chat.

Pricing

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free, billed Free forever. It includes a booking page, one service, up to 100 clients and one integration. That is a sensible starting point for a solo provider with a narrow offering and modest client list, but the caps matter quickly for growing businesses, and payment collection is excluded.

Pro costs 12.00 USD per month, billed Monthly. It adds unlimited services and clients, payment collection, add-on services and priority support. It is the practical choice once the Free caps get in the way or taking payments through Calday is essential. The pricing note also gives a 7-day trial; there is no need to move to Pro solely for more capacity if the Free limits still fit.

Platforms

Calday runs on Android, iOS and the web. The mobile app supports managing bookings, clients and payments from a phone, while the web booking page lets customers reserve without an app or account of their own.

Who it's for

Calday is best suited to solo operators and small service businesses that need self-serve booking, calendar coordination and client history in one service. Its support for appointments, visits, classes, consultations and rentals gives it a broad service-business remit. It is less suitable for a business that needs payment collection on a free plan or exceeds the one-service, 100-client or one-integration limits.

Pros and cons

Pro: Customers can book without an account or app, reducing friction at the booking step.
Pro: Two-way calendar sync and configurable scheduling boundaries help operators coordinate availability and protect time.
Pro: Profiles combine contact details, notes and booking history, useful for maintaining continuity with repeat clients.
Con: Free limits service count, clients and integrations, restricting how far a growing operation can rely on it.
Con: Payment collection requires Pro, so businesses that need to take deposits or full payments must pay.

Alternatives

For carpet-cleaning workflows, compare Carpet Cleaning Software as a category. MioCommerce is a paid alternative with a free trial and plans that include a one-page website; choose it if that website offering is the deciding factor. Fieldorbit has a free plan capped at 10 jobs per month and a paid Premium plan at 10.00 USD per month; it may suit a field-service business looking to start with a monthly job cap. Fieldified has a free plan with scheduling, invoicing, CRM and reporting subject to usage limits, making it worth considering if those functions matter more than Calday's booking-page emphasis. Tradify is a paid option with a free trial and a Lite plan at 47.00 USD per month per user; consider it if job management, quoting and invoicing are central needs. HiveSuite is another paid option with a free trial, including a Solo plan at 34.99 GBP per month for one admin and two crew. Carpetan offers a free plan with 50 orders per month and a driver app, so it is a relevant comparison for carpet-cleaning operations tracking orders and drivers. Formitize is a paid option with a free trial and a 29.99 USD per month per-user plan. OctopusPro is a paid alternative with a free trial and a Starter plan at 36.25 USD per month for an owner-operator setup that includes one admin and one fieldworker.

Verdict

Choose Calday if you are a solo provider or small service business that wants self-serve booking, calendar sync and client records without asking customers to install an app or create an account. The free plan is a credible start for a small, single-service operation; look elsewhere or move to Pro if payment collection is essential or its caps are already too restrictive.
