Calerity
Calerity is web-based automated scheduling software for academic medicine programs, physician groups and other medical training programs with complex, connected assignments. Its proprietary AI engine applies each organization’s rules and requirements to generate schedules, while users can adjust results and check conflicts. The service supports rotation scheduling, call scheduling and coverage rules, and can collect time-off requests while distributing rotations, vacations and less popular assignments more evenly. Custom reports and visualizations help with staffing plans. Calerity describes a full-service process: scheduling specialists configure the system, programs share current schedules, teams review drafts, make adjustments and publish final schedules. Additional support includes X+Y scheduling, curriculum targets, unplanned absences and complement changes. Pricing is paid and available on request; the academic medicine page directs programs to request a consultation. Plum Flower Software is credited as developer.
Resident Vacation Scheduler
Resident Vacation Scheduler organizes vacation-week requests for U.S. ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship programs. Vacation rounds use PGY seniority, enforce conflicts within each training level, and apply a global cap on residents off in a given week. Religious holiday requests can bypass same-level conflicts; when all overlapping requests are religious, the global cap can also be relaxed. Consecutive weeks requested for international travel stay together. Programs can run multiple academic years in parallel, and residents can view past schedules after the purchase year ends. Administrators sign in with Apple or Google, while residents use a unique one-time access code. The free plan supports up to 5 residents. One-time purchases covering one GME academic year cost 299.00 USD for up to 20 residents, 699.00 USD for up to 50, or 999.00 USD for up to 150; an Institutional license costs 3500.00 USD for unlimited residents. The maker says its iOS app is completing App Store review; the iPhone listing requires iOS 15.1 or later.
