In their own words

Capture Expense

Capture Expense is an expense management platform for automating expense reports, approvals, analytics, and compliance. Employees can photograph receipts in the mobile app, with extracted details added to an expense claim. Custom multi-stage approval workflows and individual spend controls can flag out-of-policy expenses. Mileage tools calculate reimbursements using approved fuel rates, predict destinations and endpoints, and track carbon. A finance copilot produces reports in response to natural-language questions. Employees can also submit receipts through WhatsApp, Slack, or Teams to create claims. Capture Expense says it integrates with more than 50 back-office systems and provides a documented REST API for real-time integrations. It works in desktop and mobile web browsers and offers apps for Android and iOS, as well as support for macOS and Windows. The maker identifies Cyber Essentials certification, ICO registration, GDPR compliance, and Microsoft Azure hosting. Pricing is on request; there is no free plan, but a 14-day trial is listed. Support hours are 9:00 to 17:30 BST Monday to Friday, with additional support outside those hours.
