In their own words
Churnkey
Churnkey provides subscription retention tools for cancellation churn and failed payment recovery. Cancel Flows use customer segmentation to present offers such as cross-sells, pauses, discounts, and seat handoffs. Payment Recovery combines precision retries with email, SMS, or in-app campaigns. Feedback AI categorizes freeform feedback, connects it to MRR, and supports natural-language search. Listed integrations include Stripe, Chargebee, Braintree, Paddle, Maxio, Slack, APIs, and webhooks; the SDK can connect to other billing systems. The open-source React SDK and MCP server are free on every plan, and cancel flows can be self-hosted without a Churnkey account. Free Churn Metrics provides a read-only churn snapshot when a payment provider is connected. Churnkey lists a free plan and a paid Starter plan at $250/mo (annual), with a 14-day trial. It identifies SaaS, consumer memberships, nonprofits, news and media, and streaming as use cases.
GainTrace
GainTrace is customer success software for B2B SaaS teams that turns account signals into health scores intended to surface churn risk. Scores weigh usage, adoption, engagement, sentiment, revenue, support and CSM pulse, with inputs refreshed every six hours. For each account, the product shows the signals, weights and dates behind its score; it withholds a churn percentage until data and confidence thresholds are met. Nineteen built-in workflows cover situations such as declining health, renewal timelines, champion departures, payment failures and onboarding stages. Listed connectors include Salesforce, HubSpot, Stripe, Slack, Intercom, Zendesk, Mixpanel, Segment, PostHog, Zoom, a custom webhook and the GainTrace SDK. The free plan covers 25 tracked companies, 100 contacts, 5,000 events per month, three live connectors, 100 automations per month, 12-hour sync and three months of history. The paid GainTrace plan is $82 a year, billed annually at $990, with limits varying by company band. GainTrace says data is stored at rest in AWS data centres in Ireland and EU data residency is available on every plan. It runs on web and provides an API.
