| Privacy | ClassWolf follows the EU GDPR and acts as a processor for student, teacher, attendance, class-pack and payment data uploaded by customer schools. | Trio says it does not sell personal information and that AI requests are sent with OpenRouter zero-data-retention and no-training settings. |
| Scheduling | Recurring courses automatically generate term sessions and remain synchronized when the source course changes. | Features include recurring and group lessons, family self-booking, makeup credits, and calendar feeds for Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Outlook. |
| Security | The privacy policy describes TLS, encryption at rest where supported, tenant role controls, network isolation, backups, audit logging and least-privilege access. | Trio states that it uses TLS encryption in transit, database row-level security, access controls, audit logs for administrative actions, and magic-link, SMS-code, or passkey authentication. |

ClassWolf
ClassWolf is a multi-tenant cloud platform for schools that run recurring activities such as dance, yoga, fitness, martial arts, music and languages. It generates course sessions on a calendar and keeps them synchronized when the source course changes. Staff can record attendance as present, absent, late or excused, add walk-ins and save entries automatically. Public course pages provide branded enrollment links, seat counts and waitlists, with automatic promotion and confirmation emails. Schools can offer class packs, time-based passes and unlimited memberships, with expiry dates and remaining balances visible. Teacher earnings can be calculated from fixed fees or percentages of collected fees and exported in monthly reports. Collections can be sent to existing invoicing software such as Holded; Verifactu and SDI integrations are listed for Pro. The staff app and automated emails are available in English, Spanish, Italian, French and German. Customer data is hosted on EU-based infrastructure and can be exported at any time. The free Cub plan allows up to 3 courses, 3 disciplines, 3 teachers and 30 students, but excludes fee collection, reports, communications and online payments. Starter costs €99 a month; Pro costs €149 a month.
Trio
Trio is a web service for music teachers and studios to manage scheduling, billing, student learning, and family communication. Teachers can create recurring or group lessons, allow family self-booking, manage makeup credits, and publish calendar feeds for Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Outlook. Families receive a portal for schedules, invoices, and practice assignments. Billing supports itemized invoices, card and bank payments, autopay, and Stripe processing; online payments require Pro or Max. Students can use assignments, streaks, badges, reminders, practice-video uploads, and a repertoire library. AI features compile lesson notes, answer questions through Ask Trio, draft messages, and import library material; teachers approve generated notes before saving. Max adds MCP connections for external AI assistants. Trio says it uses encryption, access controls, audit logs, and several sign-in methods. Plans are Free, Pro at $5 per month, and Max at $20 per month.
