In their own words
CommCare
CommCare is a digital platform for frontline work that supports data collection, service delivery and case management. Its no-code builder lets teams assemble apps using drag-and-drop forms, skip logic, case configuration, multilingual forms, referrals and reporting. The Android app operates fully offline and synchronizes when a connection returns; workflows can also run in browser-based web apps, and both formats can connect to two-way SMS. Integration options include exports, OData feeds, data-forwarding tools, third-party connectors and REST APIs, including connections to Power BI, Tableau, DHIS2, Salesforce and Azure. The API can read and write cases, forms and users and automate submissions and updates. CommCare is open source: the web platform uses a BSD license and the Android app an Apache 2.0 license. The free testing edition includes one project space and five mobile workers. Standard costs $100 a month billed annually; Pro is $500 a month billed annually; Advanced is $1,000 a month billed annually; Enterprise starts at $4,000 a month.

Custom dashboards track measures such as crew productivity, job costing, and performance trends. GoCanvas says it connects with over 1,000 tools, including QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Jira, Google Sheets, Dropbox, Salesforce, Autodesk, SharePoint, and SAP. Its API supports custom integrations, data submission and retrieval, and user management. It runs on Android, iOS, web, and Windows, and offers API access. GoCanvas reports SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, encryption at rest, and TLS 1.2 or greater for communications; customers can enable HIPAA controls, including idle timeouts and restrictions on saving passwords on devices. The Essentials, Pro, and Max plans each have a three-user minimum and annual billing. Prices are $29.00, $39.00, and $49 per user/month, respectively.
