In their own words
DirectIQ
DirectIQ is an email automation platform built for family entertainment centers, trampoline parks, and other activity venues. It connects with point-of-sale systems to sync guest data daily, which can support a personalized birthday offer sent seven days before a guest’s birthday and a win-back sequence after 60 days without a visit. Campaign tools include audience segmentation, landing pages, and A/B testing. DirectIQ lists integrations including CenterEdge, Clubspeed, Lightspeed, GymMaster, Smart Waiver, Otter Waiver, Zapier, Shopify, and WordPress; its POS page says eight integrations are live, with more added monthly. The service runs on the web and through an API. Developers can use REST endpoints, webhooks for opens, clicks, and bounces, and SDKs; requests require an API key generated in account settings. Plans include a free pay-as-you-go option, $19 a month for Essential, and $36 a month for Unlimited. Both monthly plans cover up to 3,000 contacts. DirectIQ is based in New York and was founded in 2011.
GetResponse
GetResponse is a lifecycle automation platform combining email, SMS, web push, lead capture, ecommerce tools, and revenue tracking. Its AI tools generate emails and campaigns, help create content, and recommend products. Marketing automation uses visual workflows, web events, triggers, and templates; ecommerce features include promo codes, abandoned-cart reminders, and store integrations. The platform also provides landing pages, webinars, audience segmentation, and A/B testing. Its REST API can manage campaigns and newsletters, gather statistics, and manage segments. The iOS and Android app supports lists, contacts, newsletters, workflows, webinars, funnels, landing pages, and forms. GetResponse offers a free plan and a 14-day trial; paid plans are listed from $15.58/mo (annual). Free accounts have limits on webinars, messages, landing-page visits, automation, and chats. Free landing pages allow 1,000 unique visitors per month, and webinars are limited to 10 people including presenters. After the premium trial, premium features are removed unless the account is upgraded, while the free version remains available.
