Dovetail is a customer intelligence platform for organizing and analyzing customer feedback. Projects can bring together interviews, usability tests, sales calls, product demos, documents, audio, video, and survey responses. Dovetail AI provides contextual chat with answers traced to sources, automatic transcription, insight reports, summaries, and analysis of high-volume feedback. Channels continuously classify and track themes, but are available only on Professional and Enterprise plans. Those workspaces can import up to 250 data points per month and buy additional points. Channels can import support tickets from Front, Intercom, Jira Service Management, Freshdesk, HubSpot Service Hub, and Zendesk, as well as reviews from Google Play, Apple App Store, and G2. The API is available on Free, Professional, and Enterprise workspaces for automating tasks, extracting insights, and managing data. The Free plan costs nothing, billed per user per month, and includes one channel, one project, basic chat, and AI summaries. Dovetail runs on the web and offers cloud deployment. It holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications and states that it is GDPR ready. After cancellation, a workspace remains read-only for 30 days for data export before deletion according to the data retention policy.
