| Integrations | The product page documents Stripe payments and Google login; the maker's integration article describes a REST API and an embeddable registration widget. | Hi.Events supports Stripe and Stripe Connect out of the box, and webhooks can send event data to external systems such as CRMs, Slack, Zapier, and Make. |
| Payments | Ticket revenue is paid directly into the organiser's connected Stripe account, while Stripe's normal processing charges still apply. | Ticket payments go to the organizer’s own Stripe account through Stripe Connect; Hi.Events says it does not hold the money between the sale and payout. |
| Product | Eventcloud is an event registration and ticketing platform for events of any size, with ticketing, registration forms, event pages, on-site check-in, and payments. | Hi.Events is an event ticketing and management platform for concerts, conferences, festivals, club nights, workshops, and community events. |
| Security | The GDPR policy states TLS 1.2-or-higher transport encryption, AES-256 at rest, annual penetration testing, restricted access, MFA for infrastructure and monitoring. | Webhook requests are signed with a per-webhook secret, and the maker advises verifying the signature before trusting a payload. |
| Support | Support is offered through contact forms, email, live chat and demos, with responses usually promised the same day. | The pricing page says basic email support is included with both commercial licences, while the Platform licence includes priority email support. |
| Ticketing | It supports unlimited ticket types, scheduled price tiers, capacity rules, taxes, free tickets, promo codes, affiliates and waiting lists. | Yes |

In their own words
Eventcloud
Eventcloud is an event registration and ticketing platform for organisers running events of any size. It combines event pages, ticket-specific registration forms, payments and on-site check-in. Organisers can manage attendee answers, resend confirmations and export registration data to CSV or Excel. Payments connect to the organiser’s own Stripe account; Eventcloud says ticket revenue goes to that account and it charges no per-ticket fees. On event day, a phone camera can scan QR tickets, while organisers can print badges and view live attendance and revenue metrics. Promotion tools include promo codes, affiliate links and waiting lists. The web platform can also be self-hosted, and its integration information describes a REST API and an embeddable registration widget. Team costs $125 a month when billed monthly, or $1,250 a year when billed annually. Users can build and test for free without a time limit, but an active Team subscription is required to publish events and sell tickets. Enterprise offers white-label options, single sign-on and a dedicated account manager.
Hi.Events
Hi.Events is an event ticketing and management platform for concerts, conferences, festivals, club nights, workshops, and community events. Organizers can offer paid, free, donation, and tiered tickets, plus add-ons, promo codes, waitlists, and registration questions. Door staff can scan tickets or find attendees by name from a link; organizers can review sales reports and export them as CSV. Ticket payments go to the organizer’s Stripe account through Stripe Connect, rather than being held by Hi.Events between sale and payout. Cloud costs $0, with no monthly fee, and paid tickets carry a 1.25% + $0.60 fee; it includes unlimited events and ticket types, QR check-in, and embeddable checkout. Self-hosting is available under AGPL-3.0 at no charge, with the Powered by Hi.Events link kept visible and modifications published. Commercial licences start at €499 per year plus VAT for Standard, covering one production domain; Platform is €2,499 per year plus VAT for qualifying ticketing platforms. The software can be deployed in the cloud or self-hosted using Docker or manual server setup.
