In their own words
Exotel Contact Center
Exotel Contact Center manages inbound and outbound calls, messages, chatbot interactions, social media engagement and video communications through an internet connection. Its interface brings together channels including voice, SMS, WhatsApp and video conferencing. Teams can build multi-level IVR call flows with a drag-and-drop builder, including voicemail and custom greetings. Automated SMS, prerecorded calls and autodialers are available, as is automatic recording of incoming and outgoing calls for training or conflict resolution. Deployment options include public cloud, private cloud, on-premises and hybrid models. Integrations connect the platform with CRM, helpdesk, messaging and custom applications; listed CRM examples include Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Zoho Desk, Freshdesk, HubSpot and LeadSquared. Exotel states compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 27018, PCI-DSS, VAPT and GDPR standards, and offers two-factor authentication. XPrime costs $70 a month and XPro $100 a month; XTRM has no listed price. There is no free plan, but a trial account includes free SMS and call credits.
Orbit by Devotel
Orbit by Devotel provides an RCS API for sending rich business messages, including cards, carousels, and suggested replies or actions. It can check whether a recipient supports RCS and retry through SMS when RCS is unavailable, provided the organisation has enabled its fallback chain. Orbit describes a unified messaging platform spanning SMS, voice, video, WhatsApp, RCS, email, and additional channels. An RCS send can contain up to 11 suggestion chips, and a carousel can hold 2–10 cards. The Pay-as-You-Go plan has no monthly fee or minimums; sending is paid for with pre-pay credits. It includes typed Node and Web SDKs, signed webhooks, and a real-time analytics dashboard. The company says production data is processed in the EU, with its primary workload in Belgium and a disaster-recovery read replica in London. US-only, UK-only, and APAC-only residency are not offered. Orbit says its SOC 2 Type II audit is in planning and that it has not completed a third-party SOC 2 audit.
