FieldBased
FieldBased is a field operations platform for businesses managing leads, quotes, scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, and payments. It is designed for service work including tree and snow, A/V and installations, cleaning, landscaping, and home services. Its AI assistant can book jobs, draft estimates and invoices, retrieve customer information, log receipts from photos, and set reminders by voice or text. An AI receptionist can respond to inbound leads, answer questions, quote prices, and book jobs through a business text line or Facebook Messenger. Website forms, Facebook lead ads, phone calls, and live web chat feed into a shared inbox. The platform includes route planning, crew scheduling, service logs, invoicing and billing, and a client portal, and runs on Android, iOS, and the web. Starter costs $29 a month for one user and 1,000 emails per month. Pro costs $79 a month for up to 10 users, 5,000 emails, and 500 texts monthly. Card payments settle into the business’s Stripe account, with a 1% platform fee plus standard Stripe fees. Businesses can export or delete data; the company says it does not sell business or customer data.
Icey
Icey is snow removal and ice management software for handling quotes, dispatch, crew records and invoices. It runs on Android, iOS and web. Its storm board supports route assignment and dispatch, and route optimization is available for planning work. Field Mode gives crews GPS tracking, job timers, photos, navigation and offline use. Icey also displays live conditions and snowfall forecasts; users can attach a weather note to a storm event. A live client link, which does not require a login, shows service status, a client’s place in the storm queue and photos of completed work. Salt and de-icing logs can record material, application rate, timestamp, GPS location and photos for each site and visit. The free plan is for up to 15 active sites and five operator seats, with unlimited admin and office users and clients. Pro is listed at $79 a month, and Season Pass at $790 a year.
