In their own words
FMX
FMX is a cloud-based computerized maintenance management system for facilities leaders. It supports facilities and maintenance management, work orders, preventive maintenance, equipment and spare-parts inventory, facility scheduling, fleet management, capital planning, and IT management. Teams can track technician time and use native mobile access. A REST API is available to help keep data consistent across an organization’s software, and listed integrations include Google Admin Console, Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Okta Provisioning, Slack, Stripe, Twilio, and building automation systems. FMX supports single sign-on with SAML 2.0 identity providers, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Active Directory options. It is available on Android, iOS, and the web, and pricing is on request. The 14-day trial is configured with selected features and requires no credit card, download, or installation; a product expert is available during the trial. When it ends, access stops unless the organization buys a subscription. Standard contracts renew annually and include a one-time implementation fee.
Maintainly
Maintainly is a computerized maintenance management platform for preventive and reactive work orders, asset tracking, inventory, people, and analytics. Work orders can capture photos, meter readings, files, downtime, and other metrics. Preventive tasks can run on time-based schedules or meter readings, including triggers when readings exceed defined thresholds. Asset features include flexible hierarchies, QR labels, maintenance history, and geolocation tracking for movable assets.
Native iOS and Android apps support requesting, planning, assigning, and tracking work orders, and the platform is also available on the web. A REST API supports integration with ERP, business intelligence, analytics, and other software; usage is limited to 100 requests per minute for personal access tokens and third-party apps. Every plan includes live in-app chat, AWS hosting, dual-location backups, and SSL encryption. The Free plan includes unlimited work orders and mobile access. Small Business costs $12 per user / month, and Enterprise costs $24 per user / month. Timesheets and inventory are listed as separate add-ons at 5.00 USD and $7 per user / month, respectively. A 14-day trial is listed. The maker says it has elected not to be SOC 2 compliant at this stage.
