Overview

Reelo is a restaurant customer-engagement platform built around loyalty, POS-fed guest insights and marketing campaigns. It is best suited to restaurants that want to connect repeat-visit rewards with targeted outreach; the Forever Free plan is a low-commitment starting point, but several important tools sit in Growth.

Restaurants can reward guests with points, cashback, free items or tiered perks, and customize loyalty branding. POS orders update guest spend, visit history, average order value and preferences, giving teams useful signals for audience targeting. The combination is strongest for operators whose POS is among Reelo’s supported systems and who want marketing tied to guest activity rather than a standalone rewards scheme.

Key features

Loyalty and referrals: Multiple reward types let restaurants shape incentives around their repeat-visit goals. Branded loyalty and a referral program are Growth features, so Forever Free is less suitable when a restaurant needs a customized program or structured referral acquisition.
POS-linked insights: The CRM uses orders to update customer spend, visit history, average order value and preferences. That gives campaigns a behavioral basis, although the value depends on having a compatible POS connection.
Campaigns and segmentation: Reelo supports multichannel campaigns, audience segmentation and automation. Its AI-powered campaigns are aimed at raising average order value, re-engaging lapsed guests and upselling; automated and app campaigns, along with smart campaigns, are Growth features.
Feedback and reviews: Feedback tools and review requests support post-visit engagement, but feedback and online reviews are listed with Growth rather than Forever Free.
POS integration: Reelo says it connects natively with more than 35 restaurant POS systems in India, including Petpooja, DotPe, eZee Optimus, AllPOS and Ciferon. The API connection needs no new hardware and is usually set up within 24–48 hours, making adoption more practical for restaurants already using a supported system.
Mobile access and data: The app provides access to sales, feedback, campaigns and customer sections on iOS and Android. Google Play states that data is encrypted in transit and users can request deletion.

Pricing

Reelo offers a Forever Free plan at no cost. It includes campaigns via SMS and Email, customer insights and business insights, making it a sensible way to start with basic outreach and reporting. It gives up customer data export, custom loyalty programs, feedback tools, automated campaigns and custom QR codes, so businesses needing those capabilities will outgrow it.

Growth Yearly costs 3250.00 INR per month, billed monthly; the pricing FAQ also states INR 39,000/outlet/per year + GST. It is priced per outlet and adds branded loyalty, feedback and online reviews, automated and app campaigns, QR codes, a referral program and smart campaigns. This is the more fitting tier for a restaurant that wants to run an integrated retention program, but the per-outlet charge and GST matter for multi-location budgeting.

The Growth Plan has a 14-day free trial. After it ends, users can upgrade or continue on Forever Free, which offers a route to test the paid tier without losing the free option.

Platforms

Reelo supports Android, iOS, web and API. Its mobile app is available through the App Store and Google Play, while the API-based POS connection is designed to avoid additional hardware.

Who it's for

Reelo is a good fit for restaurants that use a compatible POS, want guest history to inform campaigns, and see loyalty and repeat visits as connected work. It is less compelling for businesses that need custom loyalty, feedback or automated campaigns but intend to remain on the free tier, or for restaurants whose POS is outside the stated integration network.

Pros and cons

Pros: POS orders feed actionable guest metrics; multiple reward formats and segmentation support targeted retention; the API connection needs no extra hardware and is usually set up within 24–48 hours; a free plan and 14-day Growth trial lower the barrier to evaluating it.
Cons: Core capabilities such as custom loyalty, automated campaigns, feedback and data export are reserved for Growth; Growth is charged per outlet and includes GST on the annual price; the POS integration proposition is most relevant to restaurants using supported systems in India.

Alternatives

Clover Online Ordering is a better direction when the priority is takeout, curbside pickup or dine-in ordering without setup or subscription fees; delivery fees may apply.
Sidedoor may suit venues focused on guest-list bookings, priority queue skips and reward points, with a free plan that includes five free keys.
Loyalty Gator is worth considering for a loyalty setup built around up to 100 customers, unlimited transactions, rewards and promotions; its Bite plan has custom pricing.
Hang is another paid alternative.
Welcome Back may fit teams that want social media management and publishing or automated Google review collection through add-ons.
Fleksa Marketing Automation is an alternative if branded online ordering and loyalty are central: Essentials includes a customizable branded website, online ordering and loyalty and retention programs.
PAR Engagement is another paid alternative.
TableMind is a better fit when the need centers on restaurant operations such as menu management, KDS, QR menus and table management, with online ordering, reservations and analytics in Pro.

Verdict

Choose Reelo if you want restaurant loyalty and campaigns informed by POS guest activity, especially if your existing POS is supported and Forever Free covers your initial needs. The main reason to look elsewhere is the Growth gate: custom loyalty, feedback and automated campaign tools require a per-outlet paid plan.
