In their own words
FunctionFox
FunctionFox is a web-based work and financial management platform for creative teams. It brings together time tracking, budgets and billing, retainers, reporting, project management, and resource forecasting. Users can record time with a real-time stopwatch or manual entry. Project tools include to-do lists, Gantt charts, board views, calendars, recurring tasks, and automated reminders; resource and campaign planning are also listed. The mobile app runs on iOS and Android, and web access is available. Zapier integrations connect FunctionFox with other tools. Its In-House platform adds custom request forms that create projects automatically and can send email notifications. Plans include 10GB of file management storage, with additional storage available at extra cost. FunctionFox offers free customer support and onboarding, and reports an average support response time of less than one hour. It has a free trial but no free plan. Listed monthly prices are Classic at $12.75 a month, Premier at $19.25 a month, and In-House at $44 a month; each has a three-user minimum and unlimited clients and projects.
QuickProof
QuickProof describes a creative workflow platform that brings briefs, tasks, files, feedback, approvals, and delivery into one system. Projects can start with structured briefs for objectives, deliverables, deadlines, and reference assets, with tasks linked to deliverables. Creative files have version histories, and reviews can include contextual feedback and annotations tied to the specific file version. For approvals, the platform describes a stakeholder portal, locked approved assets, delivery packages, and an audit trail recording who approved what and when. The main product is in limited early access: teams can join a waitlist, and access starts with a conversation about fit. QuickProof says it is prioritizing in-house creative and marketing teams, and also discusses small teams and agencies. Separately, QuickProof Free is a lightweight tool for temporary image reviews and feedback. Anyone with a shared link can view uploaded content; files, comments, and links are deleted after 7 days. The privacy policy says the free version does not use HTTPS encryption and warns against uploading private, sensitive, or copyrighted material.
