GridX Events
GridX Events is web-based software for managing marquee, banquet hall, catering, event-planning, and hotel event-space operations. It follows work from leads and quotations through bookings, event costs, and per-event profit and loss. Venues can build quotes from reusable service and catering packages with per-guest costs, discounts, and taxes, then send a branded PDF and portal link for approval. Bookings support staged payment schedules, and the availability calendar checks blackout dates and overlapping reservations. Menus can include courses, per-guest rates, and dietary tags; a printable Banquet Event Order can assemble the timeline, menu, headcount, layout, staffing, and requirements. Procurement, inventory use, labour, and direct expenses can be assigned to events and rolled up with revenue into a P&L. Accounting features include a double-entry general ledger with automatic posting from invoices and receipts, service-tax invoice lines, and tenant tax profiles for NTN/STRN. Installment and overdue-balance reminders can go by WhatsApp, SMS, or email, and online payments can reconcile with booking schedules and the ledger. The free Venue Base Plan includes leads, quotations, bookings, calendar, teams, expenses, ledger, roles, permissions, and 2FA. A free trial is also offered with all modules unlocked and no credit card required.
UniVenue
UniVenue is web-based venue management software paired with a demand desk for university campuses. It helps campus teams find outside event organizers and manage bookings from inquiry and lead through quote, contract, payment, event-day notes, and reporting. The calendar handles multi-space and recurring events, with database-level protection against conflicts and double bookings. Clients can accept versioned quotes, sign contracts electronically, pay online, access documents, upload insurance certificates, and request changes in a portal. Contracts support multi-signer chains, countersignatures, and addenda. Payment tools include plans, deposits, refunds, and receipts. Reporting covers revenue, utilization, labor costs, pipeline metrics, KPIs, and CSV exports. UniVenue says it provides visibility across more than 25 rental sites, direct outreach to wedding planners, filmmakers, and businesses, an event website, market analysis, photography, and an operations team. Universities approve bookings, retain rental income, and prioritize their own programming. Pricing is on request.
