gSignature vs Scribe

gSignature centrally manages and distributes organizational email signatures. Administrators can apply signatures across a domain or organizational units, and set a default signature for new employees. Employee details can be synchronized from supported email environments, imported by CSV, or edited by employees and administrators. HTML signatures can include links and banners, with more than 25 built-in employee variables or custom parameters. Administrators can update banners across employees and measure promoted campaign results in Google Analytics. For Google Workspace, the product retrieves employee data and updates Gmail signatures through the Gmail API; server-side mode can add signatures to outgoing messages, including mail sent from non-Gmail clients used with Google Workspace. Documented environments include Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Outlook and Exchange Online, with CRM connections such as Pipedrive, Salesforce and HubSpot, and Zendesk support. Registration requires a Google Workspace administrator. The maker says customer data remains within Google Workspace and Google Cloud, with access limited to authorized administrators. gSignature has a free plan and a 14-day trial, and runs on web, Android, macOS, Windows and as an extension.

Scribe is an email signature management platform for teams and AI agents to centrally design, deploy, and update branded signatures. It lists central installation, monitoring of installations, and instant updates, as well as banner campaigns and click-to-revenue attribution. Smartfields can use external data sources to fill teammate signatures. Deployment options cover Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Apple Mail, and server-side rewriting. Scribe says it connects to 30+ tools, including HRIS systems, business phone providers, calendars, and sales execution platforms. Developer options include a REST API, hosted MCP server, webhooks, CLI, and tracking SDK. Its trust center lists SOC 2 Type 2 and GDPR as compliant frameworks. Scribe says it cannot read or edit emails or change teammate information from an email provider. The 14-day trial includes all features and unlimited users, requires no card, and is listed on the pricing page. The Free plan is free for up to two users and one signature template. Business is $68 a month for 30 users.
