In their own words
Gymdesk
Gymdesk is gym management software for member records, billing, attendance, promotions, and bookings. It serves fitness gyms and businesses in martial arts, gymnastics, yoga, dance, Pilates, and CrossFit. Staff use the management system in a web browser, while members can use a mobile app to view schedules and attendance history, book or cancel classes, track rank progress, message the gym, and manage account details. The software supports onboarding, self check-in, and online or in-person payments, including one-time and recurring charges, automatic retries, and payment notifications. Listed payment options include Gymdesk Payments, Stripe, Square, Authorize.net, GoCardless, and Ezypay; other integrations include Zapier, Rhombus, ActiveCampaign, and Zoom. Plans are month to month, with a 14-day trial and no contract, setup fee, or cancellation cost. The Micro Gym plan is $75 a month for up to 50 active members. Each additional location costs $50 per month; a branded member app costs $100 per month.
GymSales
GymSales is a lead management platform for fitness businesses, covering lead capture, follow-up and sales activity. Gyms can collect website enquiries or use a branded iPad guest sign-in app or QR code flow that includes waiver submission. Staff can build prospect profiles, assign salespeople and manage follow-up tasks. Contact options include automated follow-ups, bulk campaigns, and one-to-one email, SMS and phone engagement. Reporting covers campaign results, waiver compliance, daily activity, sales funnels, team activity and custom sales targets. The system can track additional sales such as personal training or childcare with separate automated items and follow-up tasks. GymSales is web-based and has an API for connecting existing lead capture forms. Listed platforms include Android, iOS, web and API access. The site directs prospects to book a demo rather than publishing a price. Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance; optional SMS is charged per credit sent. The terms specify a 99.95% monthly uptime target, subject to exceptions including planned downtime and third-party outages.
