In their own words
HCOMS Property Management System
HCOMS Property Management System is a multi-site platform for organizations managing property portfolios beyond spreadsheets. It brings tenancy records, inspections, repairs and compliance into one place, with access on Android, iOS and web. Tenancy records cover the path from advert and allocation through agreement, rent, reviews and exit; the system can send renewal reminders and export finance statements. It tracks eight compliance cycles, including gas, electrical, asbestos, fire, legionella and EPC, with reminders and escalation. Residents can report repairs through a portal, email or phone, and a branded app supports photo reports, emergency flags, status tracking and a help centre. Staff can triage jobs, assign contractors, record photos and sign-off, and report against SLAs. Contractors can schedule work and post on-site status from a phone, with certificates and invoices returned to the office. No-code workflows can chase delayed work and raise planned-maintenance orders. HCOMS describes finance-system links, ArcGIS map overlays, role-aware access and audit trails. It says production data is UK-hosted, with encryption, per-user authentication, optional multi-factor authentication and encrypted backups.
Platuni Maintenance
Platuni Maintenance helps landlords and property managers receive maintenance requests, assign work, coordinate vendors and track progress tied to properties and units. Tenants, owners and staff can submit requests at any time with details and photos. Each request links automatically to its property and unit, while updates and communication stay in one connected thread. Teams can assign a vendor or internal team, follow work, close orders and retain activity logs for resolved requests. The workspace provides visibility into requests, vendors, SLAs and property performance. Residents can use a mobile and web app to request maintenance and access lease details. Starter includes basic work orders; Growth adds internal tickets, assignments and SLA tracking; Enterprise includes prioritized maintenance rules and technician dispatch workflows. Starter is free for up to one unit and includes email support. Growth costs $1.39 a month with a 10-unit minimum and includes API access and webhooks. Enterprise pricing is custom. Platuni says it uses encryption at rest and in transit, firewalls, access controls, regular audits and penetration testing, and role-based data access.
