hoito is a web-based practice management platform for UK therapists, with tools for client records, session notes, scheduling, payments, video sessions, and directory listings. Appointments can be online or in person, recurring, and rescheduled by drag-and-drop; therapists can set cancellation windows. Records support SOAP or summary notes and custom intake forms, with a mobile-friendly therapist workflow. The client portal shows upcoming sessions and details, sends email reminders, and applies the therapist's cancellation and rescheduling policy. Therapists connect their own Stripe accounts for direct payouts; hoito says it takes no commission on clinical revenue. Paid therapist plans include unlimited one-to-one video sessions that do not require app downloads. Calendar sync supports Google and Outlook. A clinical will feature includes executor nomination, client notifications, and a secure portal for records and downloadable summaries. It supports individual, couple, family, therapy-group, consultation and workshop services. Documentation includes progress notes, a Session Workspace, source material, intake forms, assessments, diagnoses and document storage. Optional AI can prepare sessions, draft notes from transcripts or other source material, extract text with OCR and revise notes; clinicians review drafts before saving or signing. Billing covers invoices, AutoPay, automatic invoicing, card and bank payments, recorded external payments, superbills, statements and CMS-1500 claims. Google Calendar sync works one way: changes there do not update PracticeRunner appointments, and Google events are not imported as appointments. Compatible calendar apps can subscribe to private, read-only feeds. The client portal, payment processing and insurance claims are listed. The Professional plan is $39/month, and the site also lists a free Starter plan for 30 days, capped at 10 active clients and one clinician. Platforms are Android, iOS and web.
