In their own words
ITarian Remote Desktop
ITarian Remote Desktop lets technicians connect to customer devices, troubleshoot issues and take remote control from a centralized platform. It supports attended connections, where a user is present to approve the request, and unattended access to managed endpoints. Technicians can control screens in real time, switch between multiple displays, transfer files, and manage remote files, processes, services and command-line operations. Remote sessions can be linked to ITarian service requests, tickets, troubleshooting and resolution records. ITarian describes sessions as using confirmation, encrypted connections, authentication and session controls; its Remote Access tool uses peer-to-peer connections with the secure RTP protocol. The product supports Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, with mobile apps. The Free Remote Desktop plan is listed at free and includes unlimited administrators and free remote access. To manage an endpoint, ITarian must also be installed there. For each connection, the remote user must approve the request, and the session password is valid only for that session. ITarian says its platform is built for managed service providers delivering IT services across multiple customers.
Naverisk
Naverisk is an IT services automation suite combining remote monitoring and management (RMM), Service Desk, professional services automation (PSA), and data protection. It is designed for MSPs and IT professionals, with cloud or on-premise hosting options. PSA covers contracts, projects, automated billing, and business intelligence reporting. Arma Data Protection describes encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, two-factor authentication, and air-gapped immutable storage. The mobile app handles tickets and alerts; iOS device-management support is described as coming soon. Naverisk advertises 24/7 global support at no additional cost. There is no free plan, but a free trial is available. The listed starting price is $110/mo; Microsoft 365 backups are listed at $0.50 a month per user, with Wasabi storage costs excluded.
