Jottacloud vs Nextcloud Files

Jottacloud is a cloud storage and backup service that automatically uploads files from devices. The free plan provides 5 GB for one user and backs up all devices. It supports Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, and file versioning lets users restore older versions. Uploaded files retain their original quality without compression. Data is stored in Norway under Norwegian and European privacy laws; business data sent to or from the service uses 256-bit AES encryption. Business plans accommodate two to unlimited users and allow sharing files of any size. The service also offers AI photo search that locates photos using descriptions and Microsoft Office Online integration for collaborative editing. Jottacloud has provided cloud storage since 2008 and is based in Oslo, Norway. The Unlimited plan costs $12.99 a month, billed annually at USD 129.90/year, for one user; upload speed is gradually reduced after 5 TB. A 1 TB Home plan for five users costs $7.99 a month, billed annually at USD 79.90/year, with no bandwidth limitation.
